Cinema Sins: Everything wrong with Little House on the Prairie
Willem-Jan Rensink Little House On The Prairie is me and my mom's favorite tv show
Sheldon would be excellent at Cinema Sins.
Someone should make the counting effects on this clip XD
We watched it and it was pretty nice to watch. Forgot alot of it but was fun. Surprised that she watched it and i wonder how it interests her.

"More like little house on the preposterous"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
SIN...COUNT...4....SENTENCE...4 hours of sheldon cooper ranting.
Honestly, Amy said the stuff about Raiders because Sheldon asked her to explain why she thought the plot wasn't good. I never understood why she had to apologize
Because she was attacking something he likes, and we all know how he reacts when such occurs.
@@rodneyholmes5260 i just want to know what she said. I wonder if its how there was no point to the movie, because if Indiana Jones wouldn't have been in the story at all, the Nazis still would have taken the Ark to the desert, opened it, and all died. Same outcome, with or without Jones.
Tait Jones I don't recall the entire episode, but she did point out various plot holes that make the movie , er, unbelievable, if you will. Imagine pointing out all the flaws in Star Wars to a person dressed as a Jedi or Sith.
@@rodneyholmes5260 Yes, I got cursed out the other day by somebody after ruining the book "Where the Red Fern Grows" for them.
Tait Jones People take it hard when you kill their sacred cow.
Maybe Garfield hates mondays because he misses his owner when he goes to work.
But isn't Jon Arbuckle a cartoonist who works from home?
Garfield despises the mailman... Monday is the first mail day of the week. Television programming in the 80s and early 90s was good on Sunday, but not on Monday. Nermal stayed at Jon's house, presumably on a schedule, which would most likely be Monday related. In reality, everyone is affected by Mondays, even cartoonists, because they have to do business during the week, even if they work from home. Garfield has every reason to dislike Monday. And some people like their job, so being a person with a job is not a definite reason to dislike Monday. Garfield is showing us the truth, as always.
@@alanmalcheski8882 I totally didnt expect a Garfield conversation under that video, but i totally agree with your answer and thanks for clarifying that statement. I think i can rest peacefully now :D
@@maximilianvonhohenbuhel5609 this isn't about meuw.
Acorns were a traditional food of many indigenouspeoples of North America, and served an especially important role for Californian Native Americans, where the ranges of several species of oaks overlap, increasing the reliability of the resource.[23]
@@maximilianvonhohenbuhel5609 I despise Sheldon.
2:05 Garfield may not have a job but he is impacted by the fact that his owner has a job and this effects Garfield's feeding schedule. And THAT is a reason for Garfield to hate Mondays :-)
everyone knows this
Copy cat is here.😂
Sheldon had prepared a list of "ammunition" to fire at Amy in revenge & when repairs were made to the relationship too quickly he had to fire his extra "revenge bullets" at her anyway just to empty the gun!
Any could have done better.

And I was wondering why this was recommended after playing Johnny Guitar.
Spoiler alert Young Sheldon showed a Young amy reading a little house on the pairy book by flashlight 😉
we know
Spoiler for what?
The silliest thing about Little House was the fact that Charles Ingalls was a poor farmer in the 1800s with a 1970s feathered haircut. Where and when was hairspray invented, hmmm?
Have you seen pictures of the real life Charles Ingalls? A long scraggly beard. Michael Landon's rugged good looks would have gone to waste!
Micheal landon's real hair was really gray so he had to dye it brown for little house.
But what a great head of hair AND is one of the few Best TV Dads that wasn't a perve.
That's the first sin of that show. CHARLES INGALLS HAD A BEARD!!!
He was the star/producer,he could get away with this.
In real life he would be living alone eating cereal all his life.
He is a physicist, lol. He would still have a mate one way or other.
I’d have tolerate sheldon for his geniuses

@@jithujoseph3276
Let me clarify what I meant by “geniuses” since many feeble minded peeps have trouble grasping it:
I’d have totally tolerated Sheldon purely because of my love for physics and the intelligence he possess.
as far as money is concerned I’m a data scientist myself at one of the fortune 100 company, I get paid really well probably more than Sheldon himself, so please keep your sexism to yourself.
Thankyou :)
Whenever Sheldon misbehaves like this, one has to wonder what Amy sees in him because all he does is verbally and emotionally abuse her in this scene.
I love Sheldon pointing out the anachronisms
Actually Garfield hated Mondays because then Jon had to go back to work. Cats act independent but really they are more dependent than dogs
The difference is that dogs depend on their masters to feed them, whereas cats depend on their underlings to feed them.
The hamster poop thing is hilarious 🤣
Friends: “hey, wanna watch my favorite thing, just don’t destroy it”
Me: *hating said thing and knowing I can eviscerate it with a rusty spoon* “I make no promises”
If Sheldon wants to talk about anachronisms in Little House on the Prairie, he should watch the episode where Colonel Sanders (or a strong facsimile of him) came to town and wanted to open up a fried chicken restaurant.
As a side note, I wonder what Laura Ingalls Wilder would have thought about the TV show, and whether they did her books justice. And as a little fun fact, I'm actually distantly related to her husband, Almanzo, meaning I'm distantly related to her, as well.
And when it comes to Garfield hating Mondays, being a fan of the comic strip myself, some strange misfortune usually befalls Garfield on Mondays, such as a piece of the wall that the calendar was hung to breaking off and crushing Garfield underneath. That's why he hates Mondays.
a maybe not so known tidbit: Laura Ingles was portrayed by Melissa Gilbert for tv and Sara Gilbert aka Leslie Winkle in TBBT is her half sister by adoption.
it's a small world in actor's business :D
@@rivenoak Oh, I'm aware of that tidbit. And did you know that the woman who plays Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon is actually the daughter of Laurie Metcalfe, who played Mary Cooper in The Big Bang Theory?
@@astrofan1993 yes but i wonder why Zoe Perry had to audition for the job. she is the obvious choice for the role
@@rivenoak Maybe to make it fair for the other actors auditioning. Or it could have just been a formality, and they always wanted her for the part.
After all, look at Gabriel Iglesias when he auditioned for the role of Tobias, the club DJ, in Magic Mike. They always wanted him for the part, and if he showed up to the audition, they were going to cast him in the role.
@@astrofan1993 afaik Peter Dinklage earned role of Tyrion Lannister without audition, but dunno if there was any competition whatsoever
In re: Garfield, his hating Monday COULD have to do with John having a day job and not being home
Look, I can forgive Sheldon's pettiness in ruining "Little House On the Prairie". But the Garfield comments were over the line".
The tv show was based on the book little house in plum creek and the book little house on the prairie is set in Kansas and while they did settle on native land it was due to an error by the gov't, they weren't squatting on native land and they left when it was revealed that they were on native land.
I was there that day. If you listen to that laugh track you can hear me going hahaha
Look at his smirking face at the end ahahah
um, actually, peanut butter was invented in 1895 but, as i understand it, this was set in the 1870's so it still counts as an anachronism
Garfield most likely hated Mondays because it meant Jon had to go back to work and there would be no one to wait on him all day.
Sheldon bags on Garfield being Cat, ergo he (can't!) doesn't have a job! This from a Man who plays D&D, watches space movies and shows! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the most idiotic comment I have ever read. Man if you didn't know these things are for people not for animals so you comparing a men playing video games and watching movie with cat hating Mondays is just really dumb.
garfield does have a good reason to hate mondays ^^ mondays mean he has to spendn the entire day alone with teh dog,w aiting for his owner to come back home and relieve his stress XDD
Jon works from home as a cartoonist.
Man I love Garfield! I remember reading those books in elementary school in the library.
Oh yeah... Garfield doesn't have a job. Dammit Sheldon. But maybe he hates it cuz his owner has to work starting from Monday..?
That last spoiler was the best ... As I have yet to see a Garfield fan who cares
I just watched through the series like a year ago. I can't remember an instance where anyone was shown eating a peanut butter sandwich... or mentioning the existence of peanut butter. And the Oleson's don't get a phone installed until several seasons in (because Mrs. Oleson has to have the newest available luxury _because_ she's Mrs. Oleson), and from there, a few others start getting phones connected to that main line too.
If you want to talk about wide open plot holes and inconsistencies, there are a few to be mentioned. Laura supposedly gets pregnant for the first time in one season, and nothing more is mentioned about it until a full season later. During this year of supposed pregnancy, she goes to Arizona for the summer so she can take a class during the day, and busts her ass washing dishes in the evenings to pay for her room and board. And nobody ever mentions the fact that she should be several months pregnant by that point. Then suddenly, most of the way through the next season, she's pregnant again and the day is coming soon. Another couple of seasons later, she gets pregnant and gives birth (via narration) all in the first few minutes of an episode.
They just did not know how to deal with continuity in prime time TV yet, and they weren't too worried about figuring it out. She was pregnant when the writers of a particular episode needed her to be, and then not pregnant when it suddenly became inconvenient for her to be. Of course... nobody ever made the direct claim that we're being presented with these events in chronological order, but that is the default assumption.
Maybe she was just a slut.
@@I_Have_The_Most_Japanese_Music Last I heard, sluts take just as long to give birth as prudes.
@@zardox78 But if she was an obviously experienced slut she could be getting abortions.
@@I_Have_The_Most_Japanese_Music Well, there is that.
I always though that, Lore wise, garfield originally hated mondays because he always got injured on them, there was actually one comic where he was sitting on top of a cuckoo clock and he said "wow, i cant believe absolutely nothing has happened today! On a monday!" and then the clock strikes twelves and he ends up getting startled off the clock and getting hurt, whereupon he says "tuesdays weren't that great either". However I cannot seem to find a citation for this.
Wow they're just like my older brother's marriage. She worships him and he likes it that she worships him. It's not a marriage it's more like fan girl worship. This is the same, he gets his way most of the time and disses her and her likes with her hardly doing anything.
@Ms Bisqueet The word is lengths.
Not a bad marriage though.
Yeah , but it's only a show, so they make it funny.
That sounds more like Leonard and Penny's relationship.
I heard "sit back relax and enjoy" and I immediately said out loud "A healthy dose of prolonged eye contact
Ive never understood why anyone would be friends, let alone be in a relationship, with Sheldon. He's a horrible human being.
THANK YOU. He’s played perfectly by a great actor, but someone like that wouldn’t have any friends in real life n
Absolutely
@@yolandaponkers1581 in real life he would have no relationships. Howard and raj only put up with him cause of leonard as pointed out in an episode.
Sheldon admits he’s has social issues and struggles, a friend of mine has similar issues and a very extroverted personality, it’s difficult for her to make friends but she treasures the ones she has even if she rarely says so.
I wouldn't exactly say horrible. He is incredibly smart but also he just has difficulity with things that u take foe granted. That u find easy to do on a day to day basis which he finds difficult and exhausting to do
Eg. Social and verbal skills. I love this show coz it means that i can relate to him. Doesn't mean that i am a horrible person. Just means that i have to unfortunately have to work harder at the things that other ppl.find easy.
Sheldon was a little mean, but everything he said was unfortunately true.
The way mondays are shown in Garfield that the day will be unpleasant no matter what. A giant bee can go to your nose, your food won't taste good, even a tornado can spread wooden trash and send it right into your face. Like this, monday is a doomed day where you won't have anything pleasant, like a malediction, so it perfectly makes sense for Garfield to hate them.
ughhhh sheldon is sooo immature, but still expected to be justified cause not everything in him has fully developed.
How could she get through that line without cracking up? "I tried to milk my cat?!" BAhhhhhhh!
Shledon is my favorite character on the Bog Bing Theor
Irene Jacobs Bog Bing Theor?
Isn’t it Big Bang Theory
Irene Jacobs this is where u say, Bazinga!
Irene Jacobs Okay I don’t know if you’re joking or not but I can’t stop laughing 😂 😂
Who's Shledon? And what's the Bog Bing Theor? Sounds like a show I'd like to watch.
I wonder if Sheldon wearing a 73 tshirt is because Jim Parsons was born in 1973.
No thats his favourite number
Of course Indiana Jones was necessary to the plot of the movie. Without him, there wouldn't have been all the cool fight scenes and high-speed chases. However, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" does have a glaring error that many people fail to notice. It's highly unlike that the Ark of the Covenant was ever taken to Egypt. Jewish tradition holds that when the Babylonians invaded Jerusalem, the prophet Jeremiah took the Ark to Mount Nebo and hid it there.
I love LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE I Still watch it.
WAIT SHE FUCKING MILKED A CAT!
She was very lonely growing up.
Tabby Roberts If you're shocked by this, you must not watch the show very often.
You can milk anything with nipples
Cruse Kara thank god somebody got it
Sheldon is a despicable jerk. Why does he always get away with every baddie he tries to sling?
Oh Sheldon. Man up and give Amy hat she wants. Put her on the dining room table and have your way with her.
They stayed as facts about the flaws in a movie and a television series. You can have your own opinion but the facts are that they were just pointing out factual flaws that exist amongst the Hollywood scenes.
Some people prefer not to go to work on Mondays they are safer at home because they have UNSTABLE coworkers that you have to use verbal judo on.
Garfield does have a reason to hate mondays
When Sheldon is sleeping on the couch he won't miss the " kitty " either because he's a nerd and doesn't like the " kitty " much......so the joke is on her!
Anyone who reads Garfield knows that if Garfield doesn't literally sleep the entire 24 hours of a Monday he will be plagued by exponentially bad luck, even getting out of bed means he is lucky if he makes it back in time.
Peanut butter dates back to the Azteca. Modern peanut butter was developed in 1871 by Edson, a Canadian.
"Shledons" xD
Sheldom you bastard! I love Garfield
The 73 tee shirt .... 73 is the greatest number
But on Mondays the people the cat loves goes to work 😋 A day of mourning for lack of fresh lasagna for sure.
So I'm guessing that Amy loves the show Little House on the Prairie and Garfield??
What he said about the fourth movie was dead on. Lol
Sheldon is really funny
Little House on the Preposterous
Actually does sound like a good mystery or fantasy title. I would watch that.
A flipped finger to Sheldon!
I don't see amy and sheldon as a couple I see them more as friends and Amy more of a female sheldon just think sheldon is fit to be a "boyfriend "
Actually, if Indy didn't find the right place, the City of Souls, the Nazi's would not have found the ark.
I think young amy would also be a good show, or add it to young sheldon somehow.
She did. It was called Blossom 💀
Young Sheldon is boring enough
I'm still voting waiting for the timer to see the results and get more information before making decisions
Good ol' ShLedon
I don't recall a lot of chewing tobacco in Young Sheldon.
Always want to bash sheldons face against a wall
Every episode
1:42 pothole... Sheldon's dad did not chew tobacco
maybe not yet. But they just started having problems and George staying out
More to do with Amy trying to get Sheldon focused on her, instead of something else.
Sheldon is so petty it's really not funny no matter how loud they make the laugh track
Good video Good scene 👍
"Shledons"
God now that's just petty
Netherwolf6100 It's Sheldon. Being petty is his stock in trade.
The character damn near invented petty.
Being petty is as much as his intelligence.

She tried to milk her cat?!
She seems to have partially succeeded, perhaps it had just had kittens.

He don't understand Garfield
So sweet :(
I love “Shledon”...
Peanut butter....huh....
Sheldon👌
Amy has a thing for animal abuse, which is sick and makes her character not likeable. Sheldon on the other hand is a delight.
Did he also ruin Pride and Prejudice per his original plan?
Fucking love how Sheldon says 'he's a cat, he doesn't have a job'... Oh Sheldon, you beauty!
The best number 73.
Great marriage. She and her needs will always play second fiddle to him.
I’ve never watched Little house, did they really put peanut butter and telephone wrongly?
I honestly don’t know about the peanut butter. I don’t recall seeing that but then again I could’ve completely missed that scene. Dr. Baker did have a telephone but once again, I don’t know enough about the time period to fully know if it’s erroneous or not.
I'm with Sheldon on this one.
Amy shouldn't have done that to him. I think he should have gotten revenge on her.
She didn't "do" anything. She answered a question he asked.
He asked her opinion and reasoning what was she supposed to do lie
Which episode is this?
Sheldon, Sheldon, Sheldon…. Oh, how I love to dislike Sheldon.
If you are entertained, then they have reached their goal. You watch the show, etc....
