I like the new look, more streamlined, simple and easy to navigate. Is it just me or does RekordBox SOUND much better/cleaner than Serato ? 🤔 This audio engine sounds so good 😇🙏🏾
Yes, i've made audio measurements. Rekordbox have better audioengine and samplerate conversion. Serato have distorsion in audio and samplerate conversion
I downloaded and love where it’s going. It still has some bugs as it’s a public beta, so I’ll wait for the release then downloading. I would play with it more, however from what I experienced, if I add hot cues and new songs it won’t convert to RBX6, which I still need to use until RBX 7 is formally released
I tried to import music from my network attached storage (where I host my own personal “Spotify”) and the program said the address is too long. That’s a shame. Is that fixed in this version?
I cant update my collection from usb (sync hot cues and beatgrids from usb) in the alpha theta version 6.8.2 the option to update collection is grayed our. Can anyone help?
Honestly after playing about with DJPro what i want most is the amazing Beatgridding, so sick of the time i have to spend correcting Rekordbox poop Beatgridding on anything that isn't produced in a DAW.
Hope they fix this Track Separation, its unusable for me because of Sound Crackling when I press any of the 3 Buttons for the Effects... Buffer Size or high Task Priority made no Improvement...
Alpha Theta needs to remove the paywall for legacy products that were compatible with RB 5 via license keys. This would bring more users to use their software. A lot of features they put behind a paywall are free on their competitors software, which is baffling, to say the least.
It felt like for a few years they were trying to figure out exactly how their subscription model was going to work. Hopefully they offer some type of free option (kind of like Serato lite) in the future.
@@PDot, right now that only exists via hardware unlock. I actually subscribed to RB forone year just to see whether it was worth it. It isn't. I'm a tech guy so I use RB, Serato DJ Pro, VDJ, and Traktor Pro 3. There are so many little things they can do to improve the RB experience. At this point, with the impending Serato DJ purchase after their lawsuit from InMusic concludes, I don't think they will change. They seem to be stuck on the residual income/ subscription model. That is not a bad thing necessarily, it just needs adjustment to be more competitive and worthwhile.
dude!!! this is best summary i’ve seen. thanks for putting this together!!!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the update on RekordBox 7
Thank you for taking the time to watch!
I’m really liking the new ui for RB7, it looks cleaner and I think before it drops they’ll hook up the new stems with it or shortly after the release.
I like the new look a lot too!
Awesome video. I like your hat 🌈
Ok I will download it tommorow
RekordBox Forever!🤘
It's a great piece of DJ software!
@@PDot I just wish now there could be support for the KUVO box.
@@PDot Hands down PDot!
Is this free upgrade for this mixer?
is it free upgrade for this mixer? Just bought this mixer haven’t tried it yet on serato pro dj or recordbox thanks.

I haven't done a side by side test yet

Im a RBDJ user ...great overview. Looking forward to this coming out of beta.
Thank you so much!

is there a command to delete the recycling bin
Sorry not quite understanding your question, could you give me more details?
Can "Related Tracks" pull from USB collections now? I don't understand why it hasn't been a feature, seems like a no-brainer
That’s a good question, I’ll have to check that out

RB7!
Reads serato cues/crates now?
It still does not do that, which is really a shame since both Engine DJ and Algoriddim DJay Pro do!

I recently threw some tracks in the new DJay Pro AI... MAN, the auto beatgriding is BY FAR the best.
just playing a bit , it generate cue points , same as mixedinkey
Yes you are correct, that's another added feature!
Does it read serato crates/cues like VDJ and djay pro?
@@armgod1 I don't think so ...( I didn't tried)....I am using for that anyway DJCU software

Alpha Theta Rekordbox?!😮
Officially no longer a Pioneer DJ product!
as long as its not slow as hell I'm good.
From what I've tested, exporting times to USB are still about the same. So that means it really depends on how fast of a flash drive you are using.

Stems should have been the first thing they improved
It’s something that they need to update soon to remain competitive.
I said when they purchased serato that rekordbox is going to be gone soon. It’ll basically be Serato soon enough, imo.
We shall see if you're right!
Reck a box lol
Blah blah blah it's all useless unless they improve the stems
I honestly don’t think they will make stems a priority until it can be done in hardware on a cdj or on their club mixers
