Anton came off as a d-bag from moment 1 but I respect some friendly competition. Anton had no chance and had to prove his life had purpose even though he was totally overshadowed by a superior athlete. He tried his best to compete but utterly failed... I feel bad for him.

Hi. I'm sure you won't see this but I'll wrote it anyway. I climbed a little when I was a teenager but then I got cancer & given 20% chance of surviving. Well I survived. That was 20 years ago. A month ago I stumbled across your vlogs, last week I put on a harness for the first time in over 20 years and loved it at my local gym. Magnus you inspired me, thank you. I will forever be in you debt.

Why wouldn't you be? You get to train with a great athlete and show him all your cool toys. Men love showing off their pads / chill rooms.

These are all grip strength obstacles you’d typically see later on. Most of the early stuff is agility/parkour
Really enjoy seeing Magnus and Anton working together it's almost like they are another Juji & Tom.

Y'all are killing it, I stumbled upon your videos a couple months ago - I was already going gym 5 days a week but now I've replaced my cardio days with climbing days thanks to you and am now swapping out to nearly all bouldering. Keep on keeping on champ.
it's so much fun and great exercise assuming you are training hard. I converted like a year and change ago from the gym, don't regret it at all.

LappyTyde oh for sure man! I try and stay their the same time I would a gym lifting day so 2-3hrs and keep minimal break time in. It’s been so rewarding and so much more fun than just monitoring plates

Sir Magnus the Rope climbing king! Your climbing background makes you a natural for Ninja Warrior. I could easily see you as champion if you actually trained for it. You'd kill it and Anton is a savage as well.
Magnus has a really good eye for what's important to film as well as the questions to ask these pros. Major props for these videos

I’ve watched a lot of ninja warrior in my day and I honestly believe with a year of dedicated training that Magnus would be one of the ten best ninjas in the world. Finger strength is almost always the limiting factor for ninjas and you’ve got it in spades brother. Would love to see you run next year if you get the motivation.
The scary thing is I'm not even sure he'd need to train for a year.....
Yeah he is really strong at all of the stuff that ninja warriors think is the hardest and is weaker in areas that they generally think is easier. If he were to focus and train those areas that he's weak in he could be a real contendor without a doubt.
He's already at that level the man just smashed every obstacle and can climb a rope faster than the world champ, all he needs to work on is balance and he'd be polished
I guess the main issue could be lacking experience. It seems they regulary invent new events and versions of the parkour, so if you cant adapt (e.g. this laser activated thing), you just pop out off the competition, even if you could have solved it with your skills in general.

as a former gymnast i find it interesting that the rope climb is the hardest because i remember having to do that sort of thing as a teenager but with no legs and that we just standard conditioning. the other obstacles seem far more challenging. either way it's all very impressive.
Looks like a very thick rope, that would make it a lot harder than a typical rope climb.
