I recently purchased the EPIPHONE SG Classic Worn Cherry with P 90s. Its absolutely amazing and inspiring to play . Its top notch from headstock to bottom strap button. As for your comment about the Faded Phelam blue, i dont think it Faded,, more over just a different hue from the factory. And in any case , its a beautiful color and looks great.
I never played the Gibson, but I have the sparkling burgundy version of this (open box special, under $300), and it has some serious mojo. It's my first p90 guitar, and it screams.
man them epiphone p90s are kickazz! i have my "grey poupon" epiphone LP special as a result of watching your film on it haha!! wonder if the p90s are the same on all epiphone models..... ive recently bagged a "chibson" SG special and will be putting a epiphone bridge p90 in plus a duncan antiquity clone in the neck...i put the monkey decal on it to resemble tony iommis version...(mike over at fulton streatbeats recommended it)....
@@MotorRoseMusic o yaa and them p90s can surf too! esp on the bridge with the reverb cranked! i have a grote LP special as well that i think can now hang with the epiphone one! after i popped in some comparable p90s(ceramic mag like the epi ones)...ill have a "rematch" soon!
I played a few of these. they are nice. But i can’t stand the neck shape. I’m too used to my gibson necks. The poly finish isnt for me. But it would make a nice backup guitar if I needed one
I can totally understand that. I didn't think I'd like it. I have an LP Standard and some guitars beefy necks, I was shocked I loved this neck. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘
@absolute.freedom You sound insecure and defensive when someone says an Epiphone is better than a Gibson. Just enjoy your Gibson. You spent a lot of money on that.
I've been eyeing that exact guitar for a while now, and man did that sound good. Nice work.
Thanks, Robert! I appreciate the comment and for watching! 🤘

Have owned that guitar for a couple of years.. its a beauty

NOPE! I feel ppl should give the Gretsch P90 equipped models a try. Better guitars.
I've tried those, wasn't wowed by then, but that's my opinion. If the Gretsch work for you, great! Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘
Sounds great over here.
Thanks, Michael!!
Cool video!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate that!
The only problem with this guitar is that sometimes when you are playing and look down at the headstock you will see an epiphone logo.
Yep, if that bothers you it would be a problem.
That shirt is something
Thank you...I think? 🤣 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! 🤘
@@MotorRoseMusic yeah buddy!
Good shirt!
Good demo!
Thanks again, man!
Better than Gibson? Of course not, Gibson owns and makes Epi.
Yes, we all know this, however, relative to the money you spend it might be better. Besides, it was more of a rhetorical question.
@@MotorRoseMusic better *value*. Open ended, subjective, rhetorical questions wastes everyone's time, thanks👍
@absolute.freedom Thank you for the comments, it really helps the channel!!
