You inspire me and others around the world. Yesterday I went up and down my street to pick up litter. Good thing I did. Because it rain today. The street is very clean. So proud of myself.
So the Road sweeper cleans up leaves but ignores the more important job picking up all the litter which is left for you to do, typical council. Great job as always 👍
I do noxious weed removal, too. Carry a hand pruner to cut thorny branches, and a hand, 3-pronged trowel. Use 32 gallon, 3 mil black bags and collect others to use from the ground. Normally, at 76, don't try to do more than 3-hour pickups. Metal, broken glass, etc all is collected. This summer was stung by a yellow jacket and felt the pain from the venom for several days. Am not allergic! Don't wear any perfume or other scented products. Always wear boots for ankle support, long sleeved, close around neck shirts and long pants. I have found a few coins and some dollars. People have given me bottles of water, cocoa, coffee. Most important is the many who stop their cars and trucks to tell me thank you. My roads are 50mph, lined on both sides usually with 5-6ft ditches. Often with raspberry, teasle, thistles, and tansy. Be safe out there. Will begin the New Year at Deception Pass State Park on Hwy 20. 😂😊
You poor, dedicated chili pepper. Wasp stings? Very unfair for someone who has collected such good karma! I'm very pleased you hung in there and finished. And gosh, if that was less than you were expecting, I'm scared to see how much it was before the streetsweeper! That was a LOT. I love the daily videos, i had to binge several today to catch up. Can someone tell me why the government doesn’t put out more trash cans in the public walkways? Why is that? It seems people would use trash cans if they were readily available.
Not sure which is worse -.stepping in 💩 or getting stung by 🐝. I was surprised by the littered electronics. I can recycle electronics in my part of Pennsylvania. The metals from the circuit boards and wiring can be recovered:
What a shame this world everyone needs to help pick up litter to better the earth. I try to help clean litter at certain parts it just feels great so people if you see litter where you live plz just help pick it up so it doesn't over flow

I have no idea how you can fill so many bags of trash and carry them. I cleaned with a 30 gallon bag and I could only get it half full before going home. I also put glass in the bag so that’s part of why it was so heavy.

I don’t think England has the same rules as the US. I think that’s why so many people just throw their cans and bottles out. Because there’s no cash reward in it.
Chilli told us earlier there are only few places where you can bring cans to get paid for scrap metal but it needs to be a heavy weight which he can't handle as he only goes by bike or public transport system.

Happy Safe new year ! I’ve been in a wasps nest when I was a kid had 8 stings .
Buy Salubrin and put it on the next time they sting you. It will calm it down.

Don't want to make your backpack any heavier but you need to carry Sting-Ease, or similar product. And maybe some metal nippers.
