I'll take her with/without notes, with/without a drummer. Every fiber of her body is steeped in raw unbridled talent - what an inspiration she is - every note.
I'm so comforted that Lucinda Williams can't remember her own lyrics. She's clearly looking down to read the lyrics from her notebook. I need to read my own. I don't know how Dylan manages it but I think he does.
I too am comforted. I'm a writer of prose, poetry and creative nonfiction but can't memorize my stuff. I always have to read it and wish I didn't have to. I've seen Lucinda live from front row and felt good that I wasn't the only one
I guess Lucinda and the band had to play Pineola differently due to the lack of a drummer. I wonder if she still has a drummer when she tours. Lucinda rushed through Pineola. It was too fast and she almost projects an angry or obnoxious vocal, And amazingly she still couldn't screw up the song. I mean, I still liked it enough.
forever young, thanks forever doing this for us ,i am from münster

An absolute must see if you can. Lucinda Williams and her band are exceptional.
Your not wrong,,seeing her live blew me away, the best female singer songwriter of all time
saw at the barbican this year, this woman is a genius
great writer and she has an ear to pair her tunes with a great guitar tone on lead
Super
Great! Thanks for uploading. Who plays lead guitar?
Doug Pettibone
The edits between the songs are a little harsh but the tunes are cool

These old addled brains...Whatcha gonna do?
Even the Beatles read their lyrics.
it's a good thing that she's reading.. i saw her live once, and she interrupted her song because she forgot the lyrics... incredible show, btw
I think I've seen clips of Dylan on stage with a chord or lyric compendium of his own songs.
Looks like Doug Pettibone.
