@Sweetbinabear12 Yes. I work for AA. I'm watching them take off ATM. Idk what they are talking about about flights being canceled. I haven't heard anything about cancelations nor delays.
This person is a troll 100%. It's not hard to go on American airlines website and look up flight statuses anywhere to see that they're down. Just for the heck of it I checked flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to my local airport which is pretty popular and everything after 9:00 a.m. is still sitting at the airport delayed. Only a couple flights got off this morning but even the 9:00 flight is projected to leave at 4:00 p.m. now and I'm in the Eastern Time zone so right now it's 3:37 p.m. There are no American airlines flights currently leaving Dallas fort Worth despite the story this person has crafted
And let this be a lesson to all you out in RUclips land. A lot of people come on here and claim a lot of things like they work for this person or they know that person and this is what actually happened........ 99% of them are full of it just like this one. Before freaking out and believing them do your research like I did. And feel free to fact check me while you're at it. Go right on American airlines websites and do some flight status checks from Dallas-Fort Worth to any airport you like and you can see that they are all delayed except for a couple that got off this morning between around 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time..... Unfortunately not many do their due diligence like I do and instead share misinformation like wildfire.

I’m not sure what is going on with American Airlines, but experienced the weirdest cancellations and rebooking from them a few weeks ago. My flight was cancelled as I was on my way to the airport. I returned home and rebooked myself. On my way once again to the airport the flight was cancelled. American rebooked me on a 5am flight dated the previous day. I finally called American and the agent was as confused as I was; then stated the flight was dated for the day before because it was a delayed flight. We were more than 24 hours from the initial flight time. On the way to the airport -surprise! The flight was delayed by an hour. Then rescheduled for even later. Total confusion at the airport as there were now 2 flights going to Dallas scheduled to board at the same time and the gates kept switching between 2 and 3. Finally an announcement that we could board, and chaos as people from the other Dallas flight were trying to board the wrong flight. Then we sat on the tarmac for another hour. The explanation was that we had to wait for the other flight to leave first. Common sense had left the building by this time.
Why are all airlines this year having IT issues? Seems like the death of availability, reliability for airline systems. Wonder what the heck is going on with these companies with thousands of folks in IT.

Well this may be a smart move! SHUT IT ALL DOWN, this way all flights have the same delay time thus mostly assuring everyone will make their flights and connections, while just being 90 minutes late. Stop the whole thing, get it resolved and restart the conveyor belts.
Wow was just playing on my computer with RealFlight Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator with SLT6 Transmitter/Controller, and was able to take control of flights going pass my house ... scary!
I haven't flown for the Holidays since similar delays (with most carriers) have been occurring these last few years. Although, I'm not buying the whole glitch story. I'm sure foreign entities have been targeting airlines and cell phone carriers for a while now.
There are thousands of miles of perfectly good highways. Drive yourself to your destination. If more than 2 people are traveling with you, it'll probably be less expensive, even if you have to spend a night in a hotel on the way. Sure, it might take a little longer to get there, but you'll see America, travel at your own speed, have a car at your destination (you can rent a car if yours is not trip worthy) and not be bothered by TSA, cramped seats, limited luggage, airp lane food, and all the other joys of flying.
Driving has its own cons. Traffic jams, increased risk for accidents, car issues, costlier depending on where you’re going and how many stops you have to make, less efficient for multi-state or international travel. If everyone starts driving all of these issues get compounded as roads will not be able to handle the volume
@@LP-ct9nk Wimp. Almost never a traffic jam on an interstate. The chance that YOU will be in an accident is very rare. I've driven the country from coast to coast. No car troubles, no accidents, no traffic jams. If there is, side roads are readily available. If you keep your car's maintenance up to date you shouldn't have any "car issues". It can be costlier depending, but if you're bringing 3-5 bodies it will probably even out or be less. The whole purpose of driving is for multi-state. That's what makes it fun. Unless one is going to Canada or Mexico, international travel has to be by air. Everyone won't start driving because a lot of people make excuses why they can't, just like you did.
