Medical cannabinoids and their application

Cannabinoids are a group of compounds found in the cannabis plant. The best-known cannabinoid is tetrahydro cannabinoid, or THC. It gives recreational users of cannabis the high. But many compounds found in cannabis, such as CBD, are not psychoactive, which means they can be used for medical applications.
FAAB is working to purify, characterise, and enhance CBD, and deliver it slowly through the skin, in a similar way nicotine or hormone patches work.
