@@dore8k I don't think so. There is a place you can put a microphone into the drum. What you are hearing is reverb inside the drum. So there is no reverb on it, but in it.
Hehe :) You can't see it in the picture, but it's placed 20 cm. from the top hole(right outside the picture frame). Live on stage I will probably use a small lavalier mic that fits into a small hole in the bottle neck. www.gear4music.no/en/PA-DJ-and-Lighting/AKG-C-417-PP-Professional-Miniature-Condenser-Microphone/TJN
Hm, thank you :) Have you ever used this mic to record a track for a whole session (one track in a song)? I wonder how does it sound in a mix... :) Nice playing btw... :)
Agreed. This guy... Tappity tap tap, not a CLUE how to play it. To the @55 who told the OP to shut up or play, I will post a video when I get one and smoke this guy.
What a phenomenal sounding instrument! I am completely transfixed by the expert playing of all those different tonal areas.
love the primal jungle feel
Nice groove , i like the mixed technique of many different types of drums, Tomback , riq, and more .
Igbo Kwenu love the udu drum
Best Udu playing video. Thank you for playing & sharing your talent.🌷
I have an older version and they are an unrated instrument. You can produce so many sounds . It’s wonderful.
Sorry, under rated.
makes me want one nice demo!!!
thanks for testing, really enjoying your demo
Thank you so much for this! I now need one
Awesome!
There is a place inside the drum you can put a mic and I think what we are hearing is reverb inside the drum.
Sounds enchanting! Is there reverb on it or is that the sound of the drum?
There's mad reverb on it

I think its just the resonance of the drum itself. Because when he mutes it the resonance quickly stops.
There's a hole that you can't quite see. Freeze frame at 00:01.
there's definitely reverb on the recording
Sounds great!
Sounds amazing! Are you only using the external mic?
No
Muito bom o som.Quanto custa esse material?

Thanks!
No, have not done any recording as a part of a song with other tracks yet.
Is this the "actual" sound of the drum through the mic or is there reverb added?
Reverb is added...
Love the sound and performance! Could you post the 100% dry version?
woah
gosto disso
Does any part of the instrument contain animal skin?
No, Meinl ID-4-BKO is made of fiberglass only.
