Didn't Zubin die twice canonically? (First episode AND Two Wuv music video) Low attack power or not, he's got phoenix-like immortality. I would argue this makes him the most powerful.
maybe all tallies have temporary immortality that weakens per death, making zubin weaker since he died twice

Ross dies in basically every episode, I think it’s just that after each battle all the tallies get revived
when rob asked about zubin, joe said "oh zubin, what a prankster!" emplying that zubin didn't actually die, but faked it in order to make them kill ross.
Actually, Ross is better than you think. Ross is really good at imitating chickens. And that makes up for him not singing. He also has this good attack that he uses his drumsticks on a car. This means, maybe he could use drumsticks on other things like… PEOPLE!
Not many players know this, but if Ross gets hit 10 times in a row, he can actually summon a horde of chickens to swarm and attack the enemy

as soon as I saw this video I immediately knew Joe was an obvious S tier. Joe Hawley is literally in smash bros so clearly is very adept at fighting. I liked how in depth you reviewed each members skills and abilities. Glad to have Tally Hall content in 2022.

You forgot Henry, he's easily S tier despite being a support character. As shown in the Wall Party '06 event, he's a highly versatile party member that fits in a lot of situations.
And Joe can use him for a combo attack by bonking people on the head, as we saw with Rob during the Haiku cutscene

With the DLC, some of the rankings change. Here’s my listing:
Miracle Musical Expansion: Joe gains an electricity attack that inflicts status effects if he gets a critical hit, Ross gains the Black Rainbow attack, a short ranged beam that deals heavy damage, Rob gets the ability to rewind time a small amount, and Bora and Zubin get minor base stat increases.
Joe Hawley Joe Hawley: Joe gets an extreme power boost, gaining the ability to put opponents to sleep, Crazy Food that heals a random amount, and many more abilities.
Tour Expansion: Increases every member’s speed stat, while also increasing Bora and Casey’s base stats.
Those are the only DLC I got, but there’s more, maybe I’ll get them later.
I think you should get Cojum Dip expansion, it makes Bora OP

I bought the Not a Trampoline DLC! It actually adds some extra attacks to Rob! I don't really recommend the Disney Jr group of DLC, I think it makes the game harder, not only that it plays some annoying music
The new “White collar prison” DLC is good if you want some extra content along with better upgrades to Rob and Bora, alongside the new attacks.
As a Zubin main, I am sad he is placed in B tier but I also get it. With the nerfs to Natural Ketchup after the 1.& patch, he is really not viable for new players.
I'm also a Zubin main. When he starts Zubing, it really helps the team

Joe and Ross are probably the most OP characters in the game. Ross is the only one that can respawn which mean he would defeat anyone even if it takes really long time and Joe can rewind time which gives him almost the same advantages if you play more carefully.
A team of just Ross would be so fucking hilarious

The fact that Joe Hawley is schizophrenic, got cancelled twice but still don't care, giving absolutely zero fuck to what people are thinking of him, able to summon his own schizophrenic demon to aid him, and being a chaotic god, and also being generally insane is enough to make him the most OP character. Idk why the devs decided to add Joe since he's a borderline cheating character with that stats, he needs to be above S tier. nerf Joe pls
Joe’s cancelled status effect DOES have the unfortunate downside of making enemies target Joe more often so if u play him,having Zubin on ur team becomes essential

You didn't mention that Ross is deeply interested in proteins. He can make them with minimal chemistry. SS+ tier
The reason why there is only 15 seconds of Bora at a time is because that is all the feeble mortal mind can handle
Bora's orange tie is OP. It blinds you while looking at it, then leaves bora free to attack.

as a casual player, I find that Andrew is the easiest to main. he can definitely carry if you equip the right items
Bora and Rob are S to me, Rob in his Shia form basically Insta kills, it just takes a bit of time to unlock it in battle, and when it summons Shia in full form, it’s over basically.
And him having a Scratch from the Ghost and Molly McGee is busted as hell, plus with the ability to have multiple summons at once, he can kill when you get about halfway into the game.
Don't forget about cuckoo! He has a special power to summon little children

you forgot to say that Joe Hawley´s variation "The Banana Man" can summon the ALL MIGHTY BANANA SONG-BIRDS wich can chant a tune to let the spirits free so in the night the spirits drop by the firelight to attack, and that one of Ross´ clone left drumming to become Hot rod Duncan a.k.a "the banjo man"

Ross is A or S tier because he has high speed stat, cant die because of his special “dying wish” ability which can counter zubin’s attack and counter any killing attack. His drumset can give him weapons and a shield giving him +200 defense and +400 attack. Ross also has the ability to sing in one song and gives him +50 HP from his chicken rapping.

imo, if you choose the correct setup for Andrew he becomes even better than Joe by like 2% power. But you gotta have the armor set "andrew, destroyer of galaxies, side protector of the band, occasional singer" at full level and the green sword unlocked.
Is anyone else stuck on the ninth level or am I just stupid?
I started the game out with Zubin and Andrew, which worked out for the first few levels. I also picked up Ross later on because his chicken arc seemed like both the easiest and most fun playthrough option. However, I just haven't been able to get past level 9. I maxed out Andrew's fighting stat from a bit of grinding and with Zubin's healing and Ross's special moves I thought I could beat the level boss and get enough points to move onto the next level, but it seems not to be the case.
Do I have to go back and get someone better (like Joe or Bora) orrrr am I just bad at collecting items to boost character stats?
Bora should just get his own tier above S

That's unfortunate. I've always wondered what happened to Mr. Gallagher.
Even if Steve is the worst in the game stats-wise, I think he deserves some sympathy as the devs said he was added as a challenge character. It's not really fair to put him on the same scale as the other party members when he is literally meant to be worse than them.
Rick lax may seem like a good starter choice bc of his mage abilities, but he was defeated easily when captured in a lake and tried (and failed) to talk his way out of it by promising to use magic for others instead of using that magic for his own defense. He seems to be averse to attack which could cause a problem later in battle. I’d probably only use him to buff Zubin as a healer, and possibly Ross. I recommend only adding him to your party once you’ve gotten far enough in the game and need to buff your stats for higher difficulty levels.

Casey and Bora are extremely useful by manipulating the RNG during the level hawaii part ii, you can actually skip the Resident Simon bossfight via strumming 3 strings on Caseys guitar and quickly switching to Bora, The RNG manipulation can actually help you find a secret character (Matthew the pink tie) who dissapears the minute you touch him, spooky.
Steve Gallagher is an interesting case he still does have some appearances in churches. But theres debate on whether that counts or not

I recently started the game and I realized that there's more character upgrades than the powers mentioned in this, which makes the game more interesting and fun. But the best way to play the game, is to level up and unlock level 15, at level 15, you unlock Chonny Jash, Cojum Dip, Will Wood, and Neil Cicierega. They are all great characters but I prefer playing Chonny the most. Chonny has really great powers and a hit box which is insane, he could hit a player probably more higher up or below him. He also has Mind Manipulation, which fucks up the other components control settings, setting the movement keys from arrows to WASD which is quite clever. Along with Heart Attack and Soul Section. Heart attack slowly decreases the amount of health the other component has and Soul Section splits Chonny into three, 2 are bots and 1 is the real player, which makes it difficult to find out which one is the real player. I don't know about the other characters though, I haven't played them yet, but I will soon.
fuckers also able to kill 2 other character's on the field at the cost of himself, and then return's at the end of the fight, even if you need to use the secret rope assecory.
but the status affect chaos of will himself and his minion's make him have the highest reward for getting good,
but the bonus fighter bo burnam unlocked at level 20 is really fun, if basic on the surface, has combo based play that makes him extremely complex and entertaining to play and watch, he's fucking nero from dmc but in this game.

I think dismissing the Ross cloning ability is a bit disingenuous. It has a real niche and can be very effective especially in the single player meta where it's OP.

I think you gave Bora too little credit. You forgot to mention his ultimate attack of cancelling and enemy attack for FIFTEEN SECONDS
You kind of Forgot to include that due to Ross being a drummer he has a really good arc for getting hitboxes that plus his speed makes him getting combos pretty amazing AND he can summon Mucka Blucka, not sure if this video was made before or after they added that in the patch though might need to update it

as someone not completely familiar with tally hall this is a very strange video! thank you for making it. it gave me a laugh.
from what i've seen, joe and andrew alone can defeat the ruler of everything in under 3 hours if you have the little band and the natural ketchup equiped on them respectivly.
also, for the "finding mary kate and ashley" side quest, there's a secret cutscene that will play if you have ross spinning 4 times in a row
btw do you guys know where i can install this game? i can't find it anywhere...
