His "one second pause" at the worms is what 5 other people constantly did. There's basically no reason to act like that than a joke, which I'd honestly get Insanely annoyed about that.
the best way to watch this lobby play was to sit through everyone’s perspective all the way through getting so frustrated at ellum and then watching his POV and realizing how truly scuffed his gameplay was

@@vg6256 the best way to describe it was like only four characters on the screen most of the time. If you remember old tvs or radios where some channels only showed static close to a related channel (like being on channel 30 when only channel 31 had programming), it was similar to that experience. I stopped watched after 5 minutes since i was about to have an aneurysm even though I don't normally experience motion-sickness.
In addition, his screen showed things 2 seconds after they happened, but his keyboard inputs were in time, so he had to predict what was to happen two seconds before it actually happened. You gotta give respect to ellum because i can only assume he experienced this for the entire four hours from the vod for this while everyone yelling at him for the most part.

kinda like a "boy who cried wolf" circumstance. If you're the first person to screw up multiple times, you'll be seen as someone who always screws up. Even if someone else screwed up the same amount of times as you, just because you did it first, you'll forever be seen with that bias :/

Ellum's game from his pov was literally unplayable imo. He kept glitching and teleporting. I have no idea how he even managed to finish the game, let alone time all those jumps properly. Well done on his part.

To fair, by this point, Ellum was starting to get blamed for stuff that wasn't even his fault. It doesn't help, however, when he stops to look at chat and have outright admitted to not having a clue what's going on in a previous level 🤣
12:18 is a good example, Gumiho jumped on the spring and would have made it if she didn't went left mid-air and collided with Ellum. It was her mistake but Ellum was the one blamed.
Edit 15:35 when Ellum doesn't wait they get angry. But when he takes his time with the worms they also get angry. Omg I don't even know now. I say we make this comment section as Ellum appreciation or moments where it's not Ellum's fault.

Ellum single handily provides us GREAT CONTENT. Respect to him.
my favorite part of this level was ellum saying “i’m jiggle peeking!” and steve saying so quietly and with so much disappointment “why are you jiggle peeking man?” haha
After watching it through and counting the deaths and who caused each death, I counted 63 deaths. 24 of which were caused by Ellum, followed by Steve having caused 14, DK causing 7, Simon causing 5, 5up also causing 5, Hafu causing 4, Dumbdog causing 3, and Gumi causing 1 death.

Wait, caused by doesn't mean that THEY died just that they were the reason? So Ellum died much less than 24?
@@serezelveydawn Let me correct myself. Most of those were the times Ellum DIED, causing everyone to restart. A few of them were when he played a huge part in how they died, but the majority of them were him actually dying.
gumi caused a BUNCH of deaths and she sat there and blamed ellum for all of them LMFAO
@@animelord157 most of the time ellum caused the deaths was because everyone Infront were slowing him down and yet he gets the blame for slowing the group down, despite the back of the line taking their sweet time and the front of the line being too cautious of the worms. But even when it's Steve or gumi being slow to avoid the worms, he gets blamed for slowing down even though the people Infront blocked him. He stayed in his lane almost all the time for the last level. He went full on ahead with barely any mistake and yet he gets the blame. It is sad to see.

I'm the Ellum of my group when I played Pico Park with my friends a few days ago. It's fun but it does get annoying and frustrating when they always blame you for something you didn't do. It's even more annoying when people jump in the running joke and start screaming your name. When I watched this video, I had a vietnam war flashback.
I feel bad for Ellum like whenever someone else dies they dont care and when ellum does everyone screams at him

Exactly. The others are okay because they own up to their own mistakes when they fuck up. But ellum just consistently keeps messing them up whereas the others mess up so much less.

in the video, ellum seemed to be playing things cool, like it wasn’t bothering him at all - so if it was, it might’ve not been obvious to the others since they did keep blaming him

I feel so sad for Ellum, man. Most of his mistakes were caused by people around him(esp Gumi, one of the people who ALWAYS blamed Ellum-), plus his pov was just- lag to the max. Sometimes it wouldn’t even be his fault and then the whole lobby just blames him. Another thing I noticed is that when other players make mistakes it’s like “ah, it’s fine ahaha it’s all good” and then when Ellum makes a mistake, I hear like five people in the lobby shout “Ellum!”
I was enjoying this playthrough, didn’t expect to have to end it on such a negative note. I saw that Ellum didn’t cause half of the mistakes, and it was others, yet he was still blamed... I thought 5up and the others would have been more considerate. Did they not know he was under massive lag throughout the playthrough?
Also props to Ellum for taking it like a champ and not saying anything or getting mad, I would have raged by like the third stage lol

I don't like this video as much as the others as they are blaming ellum too much. Yes he used to mess up a lot when he first started Pico park and that was where it was funny. But this video, it has been gumi who slows down and blocks ellum which gets him the blame and at the part where they blame him for being slow is because the others in the front which is Steve and gumi are also being slow.
