    Who doesn’t love a fresh new planner to try?! Try them all if you can afford to! It’s fun and it’s part of the search for the ever-elusive planner peace. 😊

    Were you in my head? These are the conversations I have with myself as I try to create that perfect system. I really think that the perfect system changes throughout the year as our needs change. Backup planners are invaluable as we negotiate life from month to month!

    I love you channel and I come to often to get ideas on how to decorate. I wish I could afford all the planners so I could try different one through the year, but I have to get a planner and it sticks with me for the whole years. I am a plum paper girl, but after watching your channel I decide to do a daily instead of a weekly this year.

    Great way to share how 2023 went. I know I went through some planners and know bound books will forever be my love language. I had the Laurel Denise and also felt it was cumbersome. Glad you found what works in the end.

  • @themaineplanner

    Can I just say I love the intro??? 😊 also, your videos like this help me with perspective on what may/may not work for me. I can tell the Laurel Denise would not work for me, as well as the MakseLife daily as I would not want to take my goals out of my home. It’s why I got the flagship vertical. Thank you as always Julie! ❤

    This was great! I tried Hobonichi, Plum Paper and Happy Planner this year for day-to-day planning, and the Budget Mom Budget By Pay check for budget planning. I’m using Makse for goal setting in 2024, continuing my PP and TBM BBP books as well. Both of them run out in like October/November. I will use Makse’s notes pages for budgeting until I crack open a new budget planner and catch all in Jan. 2025. I only got them when I did to test them out, otherwise I need my planners to go from January through December. 2025 will be the first year of EC for me, going to try their LifePlanner and get the Makse folio system for a companion. I have too many unused planners otherwise.

    Question: how do you keep track of the information in so many different planners during the year? Like important appointments, medical items, etc.?

    • @JuliesPlans
      @JuliesPlans  9 месяцев назад

      I use my phone for appointments so it doesn’t matter how many planners I float between, I’ll always know when I have an appt or a meeting 😊

    I’m such a boring planner 😅🙈 I’m still using an EC life planner. Last year I used the makse life goal setting companion books. This year I’m using a digital makse life planner and planning out my week in the EC. Like you I’m using a lot fewer stickers though.

    • @JuliesPlans
      @JuliesPlans  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! It’s consistent at times lol depending on the pen I’m using 🤣 I actually feel like it’s gotten messier this year but I’m also a recovering perfectionist who no longer wants my handwriting to look robotic 🤣🫣😅

    I think if we’re being honest most of us planner hop to an extent. If we want to find what works, we need to try all the shiny things right? I have gone from A5 rings to classic discs and spiral and back again. Currently trying a Common planner because it’s portable and I travel for work. It won’t be pretty and decorated. It will be strictly functional because I don’t use fountain pens and the paper doesn’t work for me. I knew this. Yet I bought it anyway.(It was so shiny!).I also am trying half letter discs next year. And Hemlock and Oak for faith and daily journaling. My tried-and-true happy place is the A5 rings however. The only drawback being that the size is so specific and if I’m cutting inserts myself any customization to that end is hard for this quasi-recovering perfectionist. Just enjoying the process, not beating myself up for the misses and always learning more about myself as I go. 😉

    Do you plan to keep hold of all your 2023 planners? Do you regret that you don't have one planner for remembering the year? I was restless in 2023 and plan to keep to one digital planner for 2024 so it will be easier to find things and look back.

      Sounds like a soap opera, "All My Chaotic Planner Hopping." LOL. I am sure you are influenced by other influencers just as we are, and swept up by events such as Go Wild. And freebies you receive to review. I do like your new intro. I had to resubscribe though, somehow the changes must have kicked me out. Somehow, my preferences were remembered (does that make sense?)
