Ime Udoka after the Houston Rockets beat the Utah Jazz on 3/23/2024. Jalen Green (41 points) and Fred VanVleet (34 points) combined to hit 17 threes and Jeff Green dropped in 21.

Before the All Star break I was saying trade, until it all made sense and I realized that Jalen is a slow regular season starter… dosent really start to cook till post All Star… we’ve seen this trend in his 1st 3 years. That being said, a 2nd half player like that, who gets hot late in the season could THRIVE in the playoffs… we just have to get him there.

If this were the 1st half of the season I’d be right there with you, but if you haven’t noticed in his 3 years, Jalen is a slow regular season starter… takes till after All Star break for him to get hot, this version of Jalen is who he really is… and as I said in another comment, you get a player like that who has a habit of getting hot late in the season… has the ability to drop 40 on you, get THAT guy in the playoffs asap cause he could thrive for you.
