Do you have Banish suppressors as well?
CCI Quiet Semi-Auto.
This 22lr ammo is ridiculously quiet and cycles in semis.
Once I did my first can with Silencer Centeral and discovering how easy it was its been my mission to have a can on everything..

I have the 30 gold, .556 ,45 and .22 cans from Banish.................They are all excellent.
Here is my experience with Silencer Central. First 4 cans I bought via my gun trust and paper file in 2020, it took 14 months to get my cans. In November of 2023 I bought another 4 cans via my gun trust and E-form. Had the suppressors in my hand in Feb of 2024.

My first suppressor and I love it. My experience was great with them. I have more 22 suppressors now and a 9mm along with a 30 cal. My other suppressors are other brands. I like a variety of innovative designs. I love all my suppressors and friends fall in love with them when they experience them. My Bannish 22 is my prize. Please remember wait time has nothing to do with the seller, it's all the feds, be patient. Suppressors ROCK!
At $500 before the $200 tax theft it’s a little pricer than my Silencer Co Sparrows I’ve been very happy with.

Check out the tandemkross comet barrel. I got one for my victory w/ suppressor and it’s pretty sweet.
I have a couple Banish 22 suppressors. For a rimfire suppressor, as good as it gets. I usually run these wet using Suppressor Solutions ceramic shield which makes cleaning simple with paper towels and drops the sound level an additional 10dB vs dry.
That Volquartsen Env is awesome! And surppessed, its amazingly quiet!

Get some 45 gr. subsonic. It's slowing the projectile by being heavier instead of by reducing the propellant.
Similar to a Silencerco Spectre II. 22 standard is subsonic in pistol length barrels. Nice video!
I had the exact same behavior with my S&W 5.7 using Fiocchi Subsonic. It would only cycle when I had Suppressor attached.
I talked to Robbie Wheaton about it and he said the back Pressure of the suppressor allows the subs to work. Otherwise, they're too underpowered to cycle the action. Thanks Mike

I've got a banish 22 and Banish 22K V2 that have been in ATF jail for many months now. I'll be lucky if they are approved by the end of the year. Really looking forward to their arrival.
Reminds me of the Ruger MK 1 used by Pik Van Cleef in Hard Target (1993).

I started coating the baffles and tube with ballistol before shooting makes a big difference

Fiochi Standard Velocity IS subsonic. Anything under 1123 fps is subsonic. The velocity stated on a box of ammo is measured from a rifle barrel. So when shooting from a pistol, the velocity will be lower.

Was the volquartsen 10/22 originally a ruger charger? I’ve seen them for really cheap that look like a fun project
Never owned a suppressor. Question.... As the suppressor gets dirty, does it get louder? If say you go out for a weekend shooting trip, how do you know if the suppressor gets too dirty etc? A shooting session might approach 1k rounds for instance. Can the suppressor get too hot and be damaged etc?

Yep. In some setups even having a full magazine can create more drag on the slide and stop it from cycling with subsonic ammo in semi auto

I purchaed one and it'll only feed one at a time and I have to recharge the pistol every round....Any thoughts people?
You might want to look at the ammunition. Sometimes subsonic ammo won’t cycle in some pistols with suppressors.

Speaking as an expert after watching a dozen RUclips videos 😅 - most regular .22 ammo won’t go supersonic out of a pistol so you might not notice a noise difference even when using regular ammo.
Why is the first round always louder?
It’s commonly referred to as “a first round pop” because the suppressor and barrel are both filled with cold unburned/oxygen rich gas. The following shots are quieter because the oxygen is depleted and the gases are also warmer. Hopefully this helps explain it somewhat

So far I've not heard a suppressor that is substantially quieter than my .22 rifle with sub sonic ammo. The difference is audible but not dramatic and certainly NOT worth the money and long wait times. Some of them I see tested are just as loud WITH the can as my rifle is with sub sonic ammo.!!!
