Cloth wipes are one way to reduce the amount of single-use things you buy, but there are so many others! Are you trying to use more reusable products in your home?
Thank you! It might be a good idea to use distilled water instead of tap water, so you won't have to worry about the water getting all funky. Just curious, how do you wash out the poopie wipes?
That's true... I sometimes use the water out of my fridge as well instead of tap water. If baby is breastfed and before they start eating tons of solid foods, you actually don't have to rinse them off before throwing them in the wash with the rest of your cloth diapers. If baby is formula fed or eating solids so their poop is not quite so water-soluble, then you can either do the sprayer method (where you attach a sprayer to your toilet) or "dunk & swish" (which is what we do). We also use fleece liners in the diapers so that instead of dunking the whole diaper, we can just dunk the fleece liner! I made about 50 of them out of one of those $2.50 Walmart fleece blankets, lol.
