The work these guys put into the suits and props is huge! You can see they really care about doing good job and pushing the boundaries of their craft. The biggest tragedy here is that the show runners and writers have produced such hot garbage of a show. Any random guy on the street would be able to produce better show than these so called writers and producers
The special effects guys outdid themselves and delivered on every front meanwhile the show took all that and just dropped the ball. I will say that the action sequences varied between good and amazing. The rest mainly the narrative team needs to step up their game though and lift the quality of their work to the one provided by guys from FBFX and the cinematographers doing the action shooting.
Adam really needs to do a collab with Installation00. He's making a real life, as close to lore as he can get, fully functional MJOLNIR suit. Once it's done, I would really love to see a collab for sure!
This isn't from the Halo show; it's from "Jimmy Rings and the Continuing Adventures of The Master Cheeks". Yet another franchise being worn like a skin-suit by hack writers and showrunners who have no interest in what made it a bankable franchise in the first place, nor the confidence in their ability to separately sell their own terrible stories without hijacking something else to do it. The extreme amazing talent of the prop and suit makers is wasted on shows like this. They've done some brilliant work on these suits and have been utterly failed by the writers.
even tho the producers didn’t get familiar with the halo lore, these guys are the real heroes.. they put so much detail into their work that it speaks for itself 🫡
I love how it's vaguely lore accurate as well. Obviously it's not titanium, or technological in any way like the lore. But the fact that it comes in hundreds of pieces, the undersuit is basically a suit by itself, it's heavy. From knowing so much about the Halo suit in lore, not a lot about the construction was surprising to me.
@@RavenWolffe77 in halo 2 and 3 they look different. The actual "ridges" for lack of a better word look flatter and less bulbous. They look more like folds instead of corrogation.

It's actually such a travesty that the show was so poorly written. These guys (along with the rest of the crew I'm sure) clearly put their heart and soul into the show, and it strikes me as incredibly unfair that the writers and producers couldn't be bothered to support all that hard work with an equal level of care and attention.
But I think it’s unfair to have such terrible hatred from game fanatics. An excellent series, but you mix the work of both the writers and actors with crap, constantly humiliating them. It's horrible. Damn nerds.

The series is good. But gaming nerd fanatics are terrible.
Incredible doesn't do these armor sets justice one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. This show is awesome from the get go thanks Adam for bringing this video to us.
If only they put this much effort into the story and writing.
Props to the visual designers of the show, that was pretty much the best part of it.
Love it👌 I'm no hard core halo fan so I'm not that familiar with the hole story or universe but I love the series and are happy there will be more😃
I feel so sorry for you if the show was your entry point in the series
@@adventuroushermit2590
I've played the game from time to time since the first Xbox but never caught on playing anyone of them trough🤷♂️ never learned the story so to speak but the series I really good, not mandalorian good but still cool🙂 I will start playing the game again doh but I'm not sure where to start😂 have the new Xbox series x
@@davidtheswedishtechguy halo ce is the first so that’s a good starting point honestly it better to play them in release order then chronological order. It’s cool you like the show glad some people can find enjoyment with it but be aware of you get into the games that the show basically has no basis or relation to anything from the books or game cannon so a majority of characters and plot lines you know from the show don’t exist.
@@davidtheswedishtechguy You are doing yourself a massive disservice because the story in the games and books are leagues better. The show is a bastardization of those
@@FrostbiteDigital The plot in the Halo games is just some kind of kindergarten and marking time. The plot in the series was much better. Gaming nerds are terrible and ungrateful people.
It’s amazing for how advanced the helmet of the costume is. The show should have used it more
It’s a shame this much effort and time was put into making these suits exactly how they look in the game, all while the writers and actors never even played it and didn’t understand any of the story…
Adam is definitely asking for one of those DMX rigs to put into his collection. FBFX is doing the most on these shows.
Normally I don't post negativity, but the Last of Us TV showed everyone - especially Halo fans what could have been. If only the people in charge had an ounce of faith and respect for the the IP
The fact that they still felt they couldn't make a show about a guy that kept his helmet on the whole time when the mandalorian exists 🤦♂️
@@nrlatty22 that's such a great point, and no one can say it was a copy since Chief cam way before mando.
Plus all the books and games prove already that the lore is expansive and interesting enough already. Why change it?
Are you kidding? The Last of Us series is terrible. Literally inferior to the game in every way. And the Halo series is very good.
That helmet is a thing of beauty. I've never played the game but I did watch the show and they looked impressive as hell.
Play the games you'll get a whole different perspective from the story, recommend starting from Reach
As bad as the Halo show turned out to be. THE COSTUM DESIGN IS FUCKING PHENOMINAL!!! Looks like they did a really good job recreating some of my childhood spartans!
It was a good show, I always wanted to see what happened next, it just wasn't Halo
Absolutely fantastic work 😲
The helmet is the best part of the show, it's a shame how little of it we got to see
It's a pity that your eyesight is so poor that you couldn't see the helmet in the series, I'm sorry for your loss.
Adam is the child in all of us, still nerding out, despite being in the business, I love it.
Cool! They should have worn this in the show lmao
The armor form *Forward unto dawn* armor was cooler
But this is awesome work, good job
imagine this level of helmet tech for paintball; would lovvveeee it
This helmet with a matching suit fit for paintball would probably make you look like an absolute menace damn would love to see something like that!!
These costumes look incredible just a shame the show was utter trash. But that takes nothing away form this work its beautiful craftsmanship.
100% looked great except for some character models in season 1 but the story was absolute trash. Season 2 is a little better but still not good.
This was awesome to watch. Love the suit detail
The work these guys put into the suits and props is huge! You can see they really care about doing good job and pushing the boundaries of their craft.
The biggest tragedy here is that the show runners and writers have produced such hot garbage of a show.
Any random guy on the street would be able to produce better show than these so called writers and producers
Wow that took an incredible amount of work. Glad s2 is confirmed-lots of potential
If the show got anything right, it was the awesome UNSC uniforms & armor. Hats off to these guys for all that great work!
Adam! That is not Master Chief!!!! That is the imposter Master Cheeks......
Unfortunately the writers of the halo series didn't put in this much effort
Adams face when he said he could try the helmet on. 😃 He was so excited, I love it..
I'ma give credit to the prop makers of that show, and the art direction for the most part. Other than that, good lord, nah.
One thing I personally didn't like about the designs of the suits was the corrugated hose look on the joints. But other than that they looked good.
Those have always been a part of the Spartan undersuits.
H3 and H2A both have them.
@@RavenWolffe77 in halo 2 and 3 they look different. The actual "ridges" for lack of a better word look flatter and less bulbous. They look more like folds instead of corrogation.
@@GiRR007
No, if you look at the MCC's higher-res H3 classic undersuit, you can clearly see the hosing.
It's explicitly Canon, It's a part of the reactive gel layer.
@@RavenWolffe77 That's not what I'm talking about. I'm referring to the grooves around the shoulders. I looked back at the halo 2 and 3 suits already, and not only are they not as pronounced as the ones in the show, but there are also less of them. In the shows suit they are even on the sides
incredible, the best part of the show by far
It's actually such a travesty that the show was so poorly written. These guys (along with the rest of the crew I'm sure) clearly put their heart and soul into the show, and it strikes me as incredibly unfair that the writers and producers couldn't be bothered to support all that hard work with an equal level of care and attention.
Cry more 😭 😂😂
But I think it’s unfair to have such terrible hatred from game fanatics. An excellent series, but you mix the work of both the writers and actors with crap, constantly humiliating them. It's horrible. Damn nerds.
