@@afewsnakesTim is a great actor and hella funny I think anyone who loved Home Improvement, Jungle 2 Jungle, this movie, the Santa Clause 1/2/3 and Buzz Lightyears voice would agree.

Yea, it's Six, your full name is Guy Crewman Six. Your life expectancy was a lot shorter than if you were a female extra, they usually lasted the entire show. Although their screen time was about a minute or two.
I think there's another layer to the joke. One of the few times a core cast member has died permanently is Tasha Yar on ST:TNG. And what was she? Security Chief.
@@n0ireclipse ya generally if a core cast member is going to die it is most likely going to be in a heroic suicide. Fun fact The scream guy does after seeing the thermians without their hologuise, was ad-libbed by rockwell on his own merit, Sigourney weaver was actually spooked by it and they loved it so much they kept it in there.

Poor Guy. xD

Have you seen the behind the scenes featurette? At 1 point Tim Allen is commenting on acting styles and says that he, and Daryl Mitchell (Tommy) and Rockwell come from the same discipline of acting: none 😅
Three things to note about Guy in this movie. 1. If you look at his uniform, it doesn't match the other characters' uniforms(no custom zipper pull and no chest logo). So it is either homemade or wasn't made well on the show since he was just an extra. 2. Despite constantly being scared of dying, he's the only character on the bridge not shot by Sarris. 3. The implication of him becoming security chief and getting a name makes him think he's safe on the show, but he isn't. That's the same position as Tasha Yar in 'Next Generation' and she was killed off after only 23 episodes.
Let's get out of here before one of those things kills GUY!

1:23 I like the way Sigourney Weaver's alien lubricated her vaginal spectrum medical instrument before her examination! I actually spit out my diet coke at the theaters that night! The horror in her eyes as she realizes what that thing is that was thrust upon her face!Haha 😂🤣
Just saw Aliens for the first time (am insanely obsessed with the first movie, IMO Aliens is very good but doesn't compare... Gwen is a complete departure from Ripley but Sigourney proves herself a hysterically funny comedic actress) and I 100% see that. But IMO Sam is even better. Bill Paxton walked so Sam Rockwell could Olympic sprint.
When you are a man or woman who finds themselves in love with movies, you eventually will start to try to order them in terms of your favorites. #1 being this, #2 being that, etc. It's a fool's errand. The best you can do is to say these movies are in the top 10, or top 50, etc. Well, this movie is in my top 5. It works on so many levels.
What scene? There is a deleted scene somewhere? (" was hoping to see the scene where everybody but Guy is shot or killed. That was hilariously ironic")
Liora P It's towards the end of the film, when Sarris (Disguised as Fred Kwan) sneaks onto the ship after the final battle is supposedly won. The big Activate the Omega 13 moment in the film.
It might also have been strategic to have a funny friendly role to compare with the disgusting evil one... Because the Green Mile's character could have stuck to the actor.
@@garryiglesias4074 I could see that too. For a while, his portrayal of William Wharton was all I could think of, but when I realized that he was in Galaxy Quest, Hitchhiker’s Guide, and other movies… boy was my opinion changes!
It only took the 20th viewing of this movie for me to realize that Sam Rockwell’s character’s character name is Roc. Just a little joke by the writers.
In Galaxy Quest, Sam Rockwell's character was useless for 95% of the film except for when the crew went down to the planet where "Guy" pointed out that the seemingly cute denizens of the planet, would get mean somehow, and there would be a million more of them. "Quick! Let's get out of here before one of those things kills guy!" -Gwen DeMarco

A credit to Sam Rockwell's talents when he manages to shine amidst Sigourney, Alan and Tim. He's funny and his comedic timing is impeccable.
