I have on of these. I load my sanding discs by removing the backing, pressing the appropriate sized rod onto the adhesive surface while the whole sheet is grit surface down, then just push through and fit to the tool. Mine also came with a single burr head. I have since bought a complete set of DSPIAE burrs and they are great for removing large amounts of plastic quickly on thick pieces. It also takes micro drill bits with I think it’s standard Chuck. I’ve purchased a Chuck adaptor that allows me to use more bits from ,y home toolbox. All of this makes it even more versatile.
How expensive are the refill sanding sheets? This looks fantastic. I tried a similar sander (MicroLux) like you showed at the end where it moves back and forth instead of spinning and it was horrible. Returned it immediately, but I am definitely picking this up to make sanding my prints easier.
@@evolutionxstudios Do you have a link to the refills, having trouble finding them. And maybe I just used mine incorrectly or the sanding sheets it came with were too high grit idk lol. Hopefully dspiae makes a better one!
Thanks for the Suggestion,i bought it as well and its a great handy tool. Only the sanding Discs sand paper flies off after a few Seconds of sanding.does this Happens on your sanding discs as well?
Oh, yeah like you saw in the video it happened one time when I sanded the wood and was putting on to much pressure. So if you don't push as much it shouldn't happen.
@@evolutionxstudios No problem. I don’t know the diameter TBH but I have established from another reviewer who has both that they are 0.1 mm too big and thus don’t fit! How dumb is that, they make a device that does not accept the drill bits that they also make. They only fit their hand drill which is essentially a pin-vise, those I have already. So this is off the list to me. Looks like it’ll have to be the Wowstick Drill.
My guess is that being a grinder, even at the lowest speed, it will be too fast for a modelling type drill that ideally needs high torque but low speeds. Hence Wowstick make both a drill AND a grinder / sander rather than one device for both purposes.
@@evolutionxstudios Just checked and they work now o.O They displayed as normal text, so the part after DdV... was cut. Now they are normal links. Welp, maybe my PC broke something then :P Anyway - appreciate your videos, thanks!
I have this tool and love it. The polishing pads and polish is where it really shines. (No pun intended)
Pun detected! Thanks for commenting

Sweet! Now you just need two of these to be able to swap them if one is charging :D
IS that new tool you mention at the end the reciprocating sander?
Yes sir

Oh I hope that's not the same with the one I ordered. Currently one pack is 8 bucks, and if you get both sizes 12 bucks

@@evolutionxstudios i dont put pressure on it at all,my guess the glue gets loose due the heat from the grinding 🤷
@@BStadtFilms ah you mean the sand paper is not ripped from the foam but from the shaft itself? That hasn't happened to me yet
Interesting. Do you know if this can take the Dspiae tungsten drill bits?
What’s their diameter? I tried it with bits that had close to 3mm diameter on the shaft and they didn’t fit in

@@Edward-Plantagenet that could very well be!
Bore out the hole to 3.2mm and you can then fit CNC PCB micro drill bit’s.
Yeah I did try it with my micro drill bits but it felt they are just a hair width too large
Hey, thx for the review, but I noticed the links to ali were cut by youtube. No way to click them :P

Why no link on other sander?
Because I haven’t tested it yet, don’t wanna recommend stuff that might turn out as crap
can you use it while charging?
Not sure, definitely not with the charging cable it comes with because that’s very short
Woohoo!
USE ALWAYS A RESPIRATOR!!!! the dust is one of the most toxic dust for our lungs!!!!
Agreed, I even wear a respirator when I do wet sanding
Mine didn’t last long at all unfortunately.
Oh crap, did it completely die on you?
@@evolutionxstudios It did! I got less than 30 minutes use out of it. Not happy!
@@douglasw.7864 damn, I would ask for a refund or replacement
@@evolutionxstudios It was a gift from wife. I’ll ask her where she purchased it.
