I've been trying to sort out Edge for days, but nothing fixed it.
I figured there had to be a way to repair Edge but had no idea how or where to do it.
This cut my CPU use down 40%

Edge literally uses 15gb ram

i have 8gb ram, when using him i get like 40%/50% of memory usage, when i close this piece of crap it goes to 20%

no sh*t.
I would have 50 chrome tabs open and it'll take up 8GB Ram.
In Edge I would get 10tabs open and it'd take up 8gb ram
I'm trying to find a solution as its absolutely ridiculous. The layout in edge is far superior to chrome when it comes to productivity. The vertical tabs is a must have

I have a Windows 10 laptop with 4GB of RAM, and Edge often uses 90% of that.

I know Edge is built on Chromium, but maybe it sandboxes pages differently? Or maybe more features use more RAM?

This rendered my computer useless and I was able finally to go back in and change the settings back to the way they way before. Not everything works for everyone, so be warned.

Then when Microsoft and/or Edge and/or Office updates, all settings get reset and turned back on so now ya have to do it all over again as well as FOX everything they broke.....ITS JUST RIDICULOUS!!!! I'M SO SICK OF THIS BULLSHT
