I was looking for ideas to use fabric for my art teacher at school (I teach PE but am always to excited to see what the kids in art are doing). She has tons of donated fabric that she doesn't know what to do with. I really liked the fabric coated cans in another video of yours. I like this idea for keeping scraps of some of my favorite quilting fabrics so I can remember them. Or even use the scraps from a baby quilt to also make a matching piece of art for their room.
I just discovered you and have just finished watching your video. I have a trash can full of scraps pieces of fabric and have been trying to figure out what to do with them since I am not a quilter. Your video has solved my dilemma and given me some great ideas! Thank you.
Awesome idea! I've been looking for art ideas for my sewing room and this is perfect. It isn't as time consuming at quilting a wall hanging and I can use my scraps to make changable/seasonal art. I'm so glad you put this video out here. My mind is churning with ideas. Thank you. 🙂❤🙂
@@CreatewithClaudia woot woot! I tried a small picture and loved it. I host a small group of quilter's and this will be perfect activity when we can meet in person. I'll send a link to you channel so you'll get the credit for the idea and more subscribers. Thank you so much for the inspiration. 😃
I like this idea. I have cheap wall art canvas that I've grown tired of. Keep saying I'm going to do a flower painting on it, but this might be an alternative. Thanks for the idea
@@CreatewithClaudia I can see that it would be somewhat like coloring! I just need to lay in a supply of Mod Podge and pull out some strips and stop myself from agonizing over which ones to use together!
Hi Claudia! I always watch your videos, but this is the first time I have commented. I absolutely love this project!!! Thank you so much for all your work involved with the projects and videos! I can't wait to make one (or a lot 😁) of these pictures!! Thanks!!
Hello!!! I absolutely love the idea of doing a project like this with my daughter for a homeschool art project. As I am not a quilter, could you recommend where I could buy fabric scraps that wouldn't cost me an arm & a leg? TIA!
Oh that sounds lovely. I bet if you know any quilters they can give you some of their scraps. Also, maybe a fabric or quilt store (look in their clearance sections) or even sometimes a thrift store. Good luck finding some and have fun with the project!
Not a shred of fabric should ever meet the trash can! Great use.🙏🏻
So true! Thanks for watching!

Can I paint over even with the amount of blue? Like this acrylic paint, and then should I still add fabric medium to the acrylic paint?
I'm not sure how it would work with acrylic paint and the glue that is used in the video. Sorry.
Love this!
