I just ordered a dd-20c idk if it's circuit bent is there a way to achieve that? I really like those knobs switches and patches. PLEASSSSE make a video cuz the key step is actually a part of my studio build
Stunning work! Love the pitchmod sound❤ could u give any information about how to get these gate Inputs from the arturia into the machine? I was testing around with a 4066 and some octocupplers without useful results at all.
With this one I used a transistor as a switch. It connects to another transistor on the board where the pad connects to. Can’t really explain exactly how because I didn’t draw up a schematic and don’t remember values or pin out. But I’ve also done it in past on a DD-5 with a voltage divider (to bring 12v down to 5v) and then a Hex inverter to flip the signal since they seem to trigger on the release. I’ve never done it with octocoupler but I’ve heard that will work but you might also need to use a hex inverted to flip the signal if triggers on release. My most recent video shows how to do the pitch mod on a different machine but process is about the same. And I plan on making part 2 & 3 where I show Gate in and Glitch mods.

Good work!
Thank you
Dang I used to have this one, bent too. Lost in a studio move
oh too bad. I still have two DD-9 and one DD-6 that I need to bend next.
