    lots of people find tofu does not have much taste to it, but it really gives us options to turn it into some amazing dishes. Tofu is a great ingredient which is full of protein, ideal for vegetarians.

    I would fry the cabbage before with ginger, then add garlic and carrots/green pepper and close it with tofu and spring onions. If you want onions its better to put yellow onions to caramelize with the cabbage, to hard fry spring onions in the beginning seems like waisting them.

    Hi Xiao thanks for the wonderful and delicious recipe. Unfortunately the tofu I got from the Tesco wasn't as hard as the one you used in your recipe recipe. Is there a way to make the to make them a little bit tougher.

    I bought some smoked tofu. Not sure what to do with it yet

    • @lilyrosesoul0077
      @lilyrosesoul0077 4 года назад

      You should taste your tofu just a little - if it is bland & has little salt you most likely can use the smoked tofu in this stir fry recipe in this video. And i think your smoked tofu is most likely firm already so you can pan fry instead of deep frying the tofu.

    Salt and soy sauce ?????? Omg

    • @brandon3872
      @brandon3872 7 лет назад +1

      Kathryn Bach Despite what some people say, it's actually pretty common in East Asia to add salt even when soy sauce is used.

    • @rosteve3872
      @rosteve3872 7 лет назад +4

      Depends on what you sauce you use as some offers a sweeter flavor so the salt is needed to balance flavors out
