Stay with the KA! Stock bottom end, MLS Head Gasket, ARP Head Studs, Turbo, 15 PSI! The funniest 310HP I've ever felt and I literally only go through one set of tires at a track day! But about 30 gallons of gas! Wicked fun!

The biggest problem I would expect Micah to have with an SR is the rocker arms. Banging off the limiter (which Micah does) will throw rockers, even with upgrades. The KA bucket over shims can also be a problem, but VQ buckets will actually fix that problem. So the SR head can be band-aided, but the KA head can actually be fixed.
Torque is another consideration. With the KA having more displacement, it will make more torque and spool a turbo faster. ISR makes a decent turbo kit that doesn’t break the bank.
Even if the KA needs built it will cost less than an SR. Don’t forget that SR’s are also old.
MotoIQ has a great video about what can be done to make a solid turbo KA.

@@MicahDiaz it’s the old block for the 280z and 280zx. They make some dual overhead cam heads for them and they have stroker kits too.
@@MicahDiaz always thought it’d be funny and neat at the same time to swap an l28 into a 240.
