What I didn't care to understand as a former Ida B. Wells resident was the fact that when came time for demolition, the residents of these buildings didn't even want to leave. They were scared to change their environment for improvement on their lives and family lives. They were mostly too comfortable living in those conditions and so they were all forced to change and get adjusted to another level in life.
And with that..not to say it's all cabrini green residents and its not cause I'm 1 chicago is has got even worse when they closed the projects.at this time 2022 chicago is off the hook its so bad.they can't control.
