My boyfriend definitely has sleep apnea... It’s 5:15 am & I’ve been up since 1 am with his snoring. Luckily I’m on a COVID closure “break” from work so don’t have to get up in the morning, but still. I NEED SLEEP. Would hate to have to stop sleeping next to him at night bc of it but I feel that’s what it’s coming to.... 30 more mins till he gets up for work & I can FINALLY sleep.

That's my issue. My girl snores like a truck and it's unbearable. When I brought it up she got furious and offended and basically said I have to deal with it. She refuses to sleep in separate rooms and I have avoided sleeping together because of it and I am currently being bitched at for it again. It's awful. Fairly certain we aren't going to last because of the sleeping situation.

Sleep phones arent the best product... maybe if your partner isnt a loud sleeper but mine is too loud and i found the music wasnt loud enough. It also wasnt over comfortable and it crapped out too soon on me

I am weening myself off sleeping pills. They make me drugged and i dont feel refreshed in the am. Buy an extra mattress and resort to sleeping in the bathroom. I am not kidding. I decided i am not taking pills for anyone else now. the only thing that half helps me now is a pair of plastic earplugs for workmen. it doesnt take all the noise away from someone snoring at 18 decibels two inches from your face, but it takes the edge off.
my mum can’t sleep at night because her boyfriend snores so loud i can hear it from my bedroom he drinks a lot and is quite large but not obese and my mum has to then sleep on couch which gives her back problems and she has to stand up all day at work for 10 hours

I've sometimes fantasised about bursting my own eardrums with pins, so I don't need to suffer getting kept awake by such intrusive rackets anymore.
I literally did this last night because i cant but it didnt even stop me from hearing it.
All this does is explain what causes snoring not how to sleep with it.

CPAP and diet isn't helping, surgery is hopefully the answer. I'd pay anything to get my husband to not snore anymore.
