Honestly the real eg started the map before the 13-0 when they easily beat loud on split and you could see the start of something amazing
Yea that series actually looked really good EG could’ve easily ended up winning 2-0. Even tho they lost the 3rd map I could see them being a legitimately very good team
yeah after the 13-3 on split i don't know how people kept doubting them. yeah, the 13-0 happened, but how can you just ignore the 'worst' team of americas putting the best team of the region on the ropes like that? this team has such a cool story!!!
I thought the same thing. During the 13-0 they even had great potential and things just weren't working out. Right then I became an EG fan and saw a team that with some time would be an incredible team, and we were right
yeah, but imo that showed more of how good is Potter than the team itself, cause that was definitely anti tactic on LOUD's especially on attacking side, denying aspas map control and getting him uncomfortable, that was her masterclass

I still think Masters Tokyo EG on fracture was the best Valorant ever played. All the maps included at one point I think they had a 15/16 pistol round win rate along with a 70 percent bonus round conversion rate. Along with crazy clips like Coms 1v4 pistol on Haven they truly felt like the main characters.

The amount of bad takes mimi has had this season is actually so funny. B4 Tokyo she also said the only team edg can beat is the attacking souls which is other Chinese team. Sure these were takes that a lot of people had before, but the fact that she’s said all of them live on stream and somehow guessing wrong every time is quite funny
To be fair these were reasonable takes at the time. Before Masters Tokyo, people were even criticizing the league for giving Chinese teams free spots when they're thought to be less competitive compared to other teams.

Ever since Eg destroyed LOUD on split 13-4 (before getting 13-0ed) on pearl, I have believed this tram can do something incredible. I was fully expecting them to go deep in Tokyo after their playoff showings and had them winning champs.
