I had the Engine Guards from touratech at my 1300GS. I took them off again because i lost to much lean angle with them. One time i had already a hard street contact and where lucky not to crash. I will buy only a aluminium cover from sw motech. Nice Videos mate, thanks a lot, appreciate that
I don't think you'll need to remove, but if so, that's the dealer's problem, not mine. Also takes a couple minutes to remove, if necessary. Took me 10 mins to install both, while reading instructions...
@@MotoPapa88 In China, those who spend a lot of money to modify motorcycles but never ride them on the road are called the "potted plant group". I fall into this category. China has not yet introduced this motorcycle, so I really like your video. I hope your video length can be increased a little bit, because I am very hungry.
@@joehuang2939 That's funny. I didn't know that. LOL. I modify all of my bikes as shown in all my other videos, but I do ride them pretty hard. Already got 1,300 miles on this GS. Cheers!
Phew... cheers for the Video.. best looking (and protective) bars I've seen and will be ordering for my R1300GS Now.... many thanks
Glad I could help
Probably the best looking bars I've seen.
Thanks!

Ya, I ended up selling my H&Bs for the SW Motechs for that very reason. Angle on the H&Bs affected lean. No issues with the SW motechs.
Great looking. Really fits the bike, looks like they are from the factory. Your tail bag fits the overall look too.
Thank you. Agreed, they really fit the bike well. Not bulky and offer good protection.
They look outstanding on the bike!! Thanks for sharing brother👍
Thanks man! I agree 100%. Less bulky, yet get the job done.
Im in love with the trophy version but your videos forced me to buy a black one. 🤣🤣 Its stunning man! Your bike looks great. Everything On point.
I love the Trophy as well, but I love black bikes more! Thank you!
🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Great video! Can I ask you where you found the smoked deflectors? I usually find smoked wind shields but not side deflectors. Many thanks
Thanks. They're WRS smoked deflectors (they're in my other videos).
Thanks just ordered some online for my 1300gs
Good choice! Ride safe!
Thanks for the video. could you tell us how much they weigh?
Not sure. I didn't weigh them prior to installing. They felt really light though.
What about the handlebar protection? Happy? Because I don't notice them on later video's?
I went with the DBK sliders instead. Different look, that's all. In my other videos, I also replaced the H&Bs with SW-Motechs.
how easy is it to get to the oil filter in terms of service? Looks like you will need to remove them to change out the spark plugs.

❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks
Boss of the potted plant group
I'm the final boss after you've gone through everyone else's garden. LOL.
