I would say better snutt is the lesser one.
There is absolutely no reason a company needs to put this much effort into an update video. You guys really are some of the best devs out there, im really glad the game you prove yourselves in just so happens to be one of my all time favorite games.
Respectfully this is just a bit of a meaningless hyperbolic turn of phrase, like "this has no business" ... The reason is : it is important to show everyone, specially Csuits, how to respect and communicate with your player base. Like how BG3 showed new standard to this industry that disrespects us on the regular.

If only more studios would put so much effort into informing their customers.
CSS are transparent and honest (even about the "bad" stuff) in the development. And also even if the game is in early access, it is far more polished and finished than most AAA titles these days. And the game itself is ultra addicting.
And on top of that, we get a patch notes video with superior acting, stunning visual effects and all the information we need.
Nothing, but love to CSS!

The game has been in development for 4 years now and it is still in its infancy.
They blatantly ignored requests to create drawings for 2 years, saying that no one needed them. And in the end they did it. This game is a slap in the face to those who believed in it.
Especially these grimacing community dummies, one of them completely left because he realized that the game was fucking dead.

Point is, keep your hostility to yourself. For every one person like you trying to crap on a good time, there's a dozen of us who actually enjoy it, and the company that makes it.

These hypocrites only talk about working with the community, they did nothing when they really asked for it. Look at the online schedule, see how rarely patches are released. Look how much other producers do in less time. And yes. I had 400 hours on update 3.

No wonders it took soo long for Update 8 to release, this video was in production for soo long and they wanted to finish it before releasing U8!
Did I miss something? Has it moved out of experimental to the stable version now? Because Update 8 has been available for a while now.

Fun fact: that scene in the Dark Knight was not in the script. Heath Ledger improvised that part with the remote not working at first.

the way snutt is inside satisfactory in this one makes me want to believe there is a VR update coming somewhere down the road.
Even without a VR update, PreyDog's Unreal VR injector will make it so.
I'm writting it every update video but DAMN are they good at communication! Never seen a patch note look this good. Masterpiece.

Great patch noted video, Snutt! You struck just the right balance of having fun with it, as well as efficiently and clearly communicating the major changes players needed to know about. Not too silly and not too serious, just right!

And lo and behold, all I had to do was look at the offers from the players, it’s not a studio, it’s a disgrace.

The concrete use case is merging the silica byproduct from aluminum production. As you necessarily MUST consume the silica to ensure aluminum production. Would be nice to merge it with your rest silica, but PRIORITIZING it for the sake of efficiency.

The best part of these patch notes is how much fun Snutt clearly had making some of the scenes. Really, I've never had more fun and enjoyment from looking at patch notes in my entire life.

No, they aren't. They haven't released a full game yet. Lots of Triple A devs have released full, complete games that were just as good as Satisfactory probably will be whenever it actually releases in a decade.
I'm extremely excited at the way Snutt made this his own! In world engagement, focus pulls, camera angles... everything screams Snutt! Love this! Also, I saw the Joker homage and I approve!
Lots of expected updates but plenty I didn't know was coming, a pleasant surprise! Love the work your team does, and the video was also a blast.

This update video was awesome! I am glad that I stumbled across it while looking for new Satisfactory videos to watch. I also wanted to let the Coffee Stain team know that I absolutely love this game. I found it randomly while looking for something else on RUclips and I have been hooked on the game ever since. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to the new updates in game.
Being able to get rid of the creepy crawlies and disable aggression will do so much for my anxiety disorder. A literal game changer for me. Also, this video is amazing!

@The01Director the aggression setting has been in early access for a bit, but entirely disabling arachnoid creatures hasn't
I am personally fine with creepy crawlies and like the spice they bring to exploration - but I also recognized that people who do not enjoy it, really should have the option to disable it. So I am very happy CSS is finally giving us individual control over what we want and don't want to encounter!

Maybey you could add air pollution to your game. For example, if you burn coal, you will either have to build it in open air (so the fumes can escape) or connect them all to a smokestack. You could punish not doing that by making polluted air indoors unbreathable, so you take damage. I think, that would be fun to micromanage and would make factories look better.
3:50 damn fine job, editors. That ladder climbing looked great! I never see edits that smooth and natural. This episode is so highly produced, it's immaculate.

These are some of the best quality of life improvements I've seen so far, and don't even get me started on the production quality of this video 😤
These are the type of devs I love to support. First of all they have so much passion for their work and it shows both in the game and their vids. Secondly they don't screw over their own customer base by overpricing their game and/or some crazy dlc scheme. Rare stuff these days!

I strongly feel like this is the studio that listens to the community and works for the consumer's comfort the most. It's amazing that Mojang (for example) didn't add filters to Minecraft because they didn't want to (they are in their right to decide, I know), while Coffee Stain just seems to work harmoniously with the players! The extra options feature got me truly impressed, the fact that you can even disable an enemy if you don't like it is impressive. It is clear that this studio wants you to play the way you want, they don't want to force you into any play style. Keep this up, you are doing a great job!

What a great update, the electrical towers and switch I was excited for but the other QOL stuff and things are awesome. Shout out to the arachnophobia feature, I’ve never “built up a tolerance” for my fear of spiders no matter how much camping I did. It’s a relief that at least one company cares that I get to have an unimpeded play experience. Still wish big social media would do something for all the pictures that randomly pop up but at least coffee stain has my back.

Thank you and your Team, you are doing great work. Even with an mostly QOL and Engine Update you managed to keep up on expectations and delivered a great Update again. I Love to see every bit you change, every little change of the game feels like a complete cohesive addition.
Now i wonder if the next update might already be 1.0 but i guess it is more or less dependent on the status of the map by now since every other part already feel like it is finished. I'm looking forward on your next plan.

Dont know if people talk much about the parachute but me and my friend LOVE the improved parachute so so much!
Aside from a few bugs that no doubt will get sorted, I'm happy with the update. I'd like to make a suggestion though. A remote power management device would be fantastic, and I feel like it would be in line with the new priority switch.
A tool that would allow you to adjust conveyors without deleting them would be absolutely amazing.
