Hi Jenny & Greg, thanks a lot for your great 🏸 tutorials - fantastic work - I hope the ad revenues will make you a decent second income in the future. The only thing which iritates me is that you both are lefties and I am not, 😀😂 because therefore I always have to think twice to get your demonstrations.☹️
I wish you all the best, from Germany🇩🇪.
BTW: What's the probability that both of you are lefties?! Or do you play doubles together because both of you are?

@@charleslemagne202 Hi Carl, thank you so much for the nice message! 🤗 Haha, we try our best to include as many right-handed demos as possible, this Sunday's video is actually predominately right-handed demos with a few left-handed for any fellow lefties out there 😆

Being a tall player (6'2) I feel people just expect me to make these kind of kill shots all the time. Like everyone I miss from time to time, so cue the roars of laughter from my club mates, but I will definitely be trying out these techniques. I think players of any level can benefit , thanks guys

Perfect explanations. If I may add, what I see a lot in beginner and intermediate players is that the follow thru after hitting the shuttle is in an arc and should be in the direction they aim at. If you timing is just slightly off you drag the shuttle with the arc of your swing and mishit the shuttle. The arc needs to come after the " short straight shot" as it is natural around your pivot points.

Would it be worth a video explaining the Surdiman and Thomas Cup tournaments? Are there differences to how a team goes about strategizing and the players they put forward? It's been very refreshing to see new faces from all the represented countries in these matchups. I didn't realize how exciting it feels to have so many new badminton matches to watch since the lockdowns.

Something I think would be cool to see is how you guys split up your badminton training, so which specific skills get practiced when and how often you train a certain technical point, for example net play or offensive shots. Is there like a list of things that get trained and then those things are repeated again in rotation, etc. Would be cool to see how it’s structured. Great content as always!

The other thing I would add is that it's very easy to get over-excited when you have an (apparently) easy net kill. So it's really important to stay cool and not try too hard to give the shuttle a huge whack, which in my experience often sends it into the net. You only need to win the point, not assassinate your opponents!

4:05 is it ok for the racket to go into the other side of the net though the strike was done on this side of the court?
Also, if while swinging a racket, one in quick motion if the shuttle is struck twice by the racket is that ok? It wasn't a deliberate attempt to hit the shuttle twice but a pure accidental natural hit resulting in the shuttle to stay a tad bit longer on the racket due to which the shuttle was in contact with the racket twice before flying across to the other side.
