Drivers says that 180PS is underpower, you might need to think again. The only lack from the Camry is the head unit. Nice comparison, personally I would prefer Camry than a Accord.

Have never been a fan of the Camry, I think all the previous design looks so outdated but this.. this caught my eye. They finally stepped up their game in the exterior looks. I'd choose this over the accord anytime.

Good video! When I was in the USA an Accord / Camry is typically priced at USD$24,000 to $26,000. An Audi A4/BMW 330 is typically priced USD$38,000 to USD$42,000; basically its a +50% more for the German cars. In SG and MY the Accord and Camry is priced too close to the German counterparts , usually only 15% to 25% cheaper? So I feel Accords and Camrys are over priced in SG and MY :(

I have been owning a Camry since 2013 and never had even a slight thought to change to another car model. The driving experience of the Camry is such peace and comfort. The engine is very reliable and still feel responsive like a new engine. Cost of maintenance is far better than my friend who owns a Honda Accord and another who owns a Honda Civic. My friends told me they had issues like noise level becomes more apparent inside the cabin and never-ending problem with the suspension system even though the mileage is still below 100k. Mind you, my Camry’s mileage will soon reach 170,000 km☺️ and always perform like new. I don’t exaggerate this, but my friend told me so whenever they sit and travel along in my car. They just don’t believe it when I told them the Camry is already eight years old😎.

Honda accord... As an ex owner of 9th Gen Accord. What I can say:
    Comfortness : camry
    Sportiness : accord
Features : that power adjustable in camry with memory steering really cool. But
Accord : walk away auto lock and can unlock the passenger side without key, bla.. Bla.. So much more. Not to forget. Smart parking system (auto parking), 360' degree camera,
    NVH:
    anytime camry
Accord: even with Active noise cancelation, still behind camry in this area
    Gearbox
Camry might have the dinosaur age transmission but hey. If ain't broken why fix it.
    Accord: CVT........! Wait what..
It's spoilt for choice because there is nothing perfect in this world. Having said that, I will still have to pick either one. So the answer is...
Honda Accord.. But why not camry if I need a chauffer driven.
Hey Adrian, why didn't you highlighted the smart parking system in Accord. Even other reviewers also never touch on that feature.

Because that smart parking assist is something nice to had, but not practical. It took way to long to park, and sometimes failed to do so after so long... Hahaha. Accord owner here.

  • @Rich9107

If the Camry came with a 2.0 Turbo then definitely worth buying. The category is still relevant to those who don't like SUV and want the Space while keeping stable handling. The D segment is the actual do it all but its that customers have lost sight of that actual luxury comfort and sharp handling can actually be. To me D segment means "Deserving Segment", work hand and you wouldn't want any compromises.
I might be the minority but for price definitely a Passat is an option but objectively the 2.5 is not a bad option as its reliable as it gets. Bit of an "uncle" thought but end of the day, the Camry brings presents versus the Accord is a Civiv with mid-life crisis. Its an Ah-Beng whose older and have to carry kids. 😂🤣

The extra Chrome makes the Accord looked more elegant to the Uncles. Just like a stainless steel watch versus a black leather watch. Somehow Toyota still give taxi flavour in all models including the Camry. The only complaint for Accord is the car length, if I use it for my own driving.
For the engine and savings of few hundred govt taxes, I choose Accord.

(Tips: the worse damage for major service of toyota will be below 2k as per his previous camry ☺️☺️)
But honda won youngster's heart by their eye catching looks and tech... As body roll might affect your ride..dun worry..just install front and back strut bar then it will be oK..(said civic owner)...Whatever your choice..is a smart buy...both models are worth your money..selamat membeli...hehe

  • @rakyatprihatin

Adrian, I like your channel. However I want to tell all automotive
commentators to test the safety level, comfort level and cabin noise
level of a car. We are not racer and we do not need racing test or
extreme acceleration. Anyway, extreme test drive drives are dangerous
and drivers might imitate on the road. This can cause great danger to
road users. We dont need racing type test drive, ok. We dont want to
know how fast a car can reach 100 km/h or some other extreme test drive
nonsense. We only want to have data about safety, comfort and cabin
    noise.

I think wrong comparison as camry launched back in 2018. BTW Accord has less tight support thats why it is spacious than camry. Same goes to civic. Finally I still would pick camry as it is still handsome and modern compared to newer Accord. Shape and proportion of Accord doesnt look luxury enough compared to camry, passat and mazda 6. Even material used and built quality of camry miles better than accord. Not bothered about this turbo as long as comfort for long distance with reliable engine and transmission.

Talking about accord, why are almost all Malaysians mispronounce it and call it "Ayy-cord" instead of correct pronunciation of "er-cord".
Imagine pronouncing every word that starts with a like above, attain or assist like that.

UMW is shortchanging Malaysians, don't buy Toyota, they always provide obsolete (one generation older) technology Toyota offered in other country market. Don't take my words for it research what other countries are getting for their Camry variant and you will see what I mean. UMW is shortchanging us.
