It's not lot ladies into machining. It's nice to see one into. But open hair inside workshop is not standard safety practice. Be safe and follow safety practice.
Thanks for sharing! I wish I could make machining videos at work! No cameras allowed! Have to make them at home! Which isnt as cool in my opinion. Keep those videos coming!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Ah yeah I understand that, that's cool that you make them at home though. I will, going to try to release one a month. Anything you're interested in seeing let me know!
At work, we have a 2003 vintage haas VF5. In two weeks, we will be getting a brand new one, same size. On the 2003, it's easy to copy something from one program, and paste it into another program, right at the control. It looks like you have a newer control. Would be a cool video to show how this is done on the newer control, so I'm on the ground running when our new haas arrives. Thanks!
I'm glad I don't work at your shop, because I don't know if I could stop enyoing watching you doing your stuff while my machine is running without my attention, so probably I won't last more than few minutes before the first crash
G98 is initial point return. G99 is R plane return. Use G98 to move the tool to rapid plane to the Z height on the line ABOVE the canned cycle line. (Usually 1 or 2 inches) to avoid crashing into clamps and such. G99 will cause the drill to do rapid moves at the R plane (usually .100 above the part)
Found this video looking for Haas tips. But now I want a knife. The designs are so dope.
Cool video krista, always fun seeing behind the scenes stuff from the shop
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
Thank you for your work. I ask continue it
Excellent video. 😳 I have zero computer knowledge but you sure make it looks so easy. Thanks for allowing us into your shop. Love jpiknives 👍🏻
