I 2nd that! Big bummer on the deleted views. Maybe RUclips can restore them? Good thing I've been playing your Blues Lounge playlist on low quality 24/7 in a separate browser window. Hopefully more of your supporters will do the same.
Yeah that wasn’t one of my better moves, haha but all good. I’m no I.T. guy.. Wow that’s cool as hell I would never think of stuff like that. Hopefully this year will be busy as and I’ll try and get more uploads happening. Thanks for you support man and as I just said to Mark I’ll get by on whatever guitars you guys are buying this year..
Man, sounds like.ike 2023 worked out well. I agree, stay true to what you want😮to do. Keep at it. I would definitely find a vehicle. The last thing you want to do is get stranded with all your gear in the car. I know it sucks having to spend the money but once it’s done it’s done. Glad the Furch ended up working out. I know you weren’t really over the moon about it when you got it.
Yes vehicles the top priority. My little utes pretty reliable but REALLY impractical for gigs being a tray top. Nothing worse than leaving your favourite guitar in a toolbox or on the front seat in full view while you go into shops or whatever. Yeah Furch seems really good, I just filmed the comparison with the Yam. I still think it got here safely more by good luck than good management. That box was a terrible.
Thanks Mark, it’s funny man doing the review I realised how much I’ve really enjoyed the year. It was challenging at times BUT rewarding and that’s the bit that makes all the difference. Hopefully 2024 will be harder.. Actually not buying guitars this year seems pretty hard I’ll have to get my fix through all you guys new gear👍
I' m hearing ya.. the Utes pretty solid mechanically its just REALLY impractical gigging in a tray top.. and definitely no good for travelling about in.. Will do👍
Well done for a great 2023. It's a massive thing to change your primary source of income and its been a thrill to watch that happen over this last year. I'm a fairly new business owner and have taken a few nugets of advice from you, particulary in this video. 1) I love what I do, even when its shit. 2) absolutely keep on stepping... growth comes from the discipline of doing things every single day. Anyway all the best for this year. I look forward to seeing a car/van purchase, a gig openning, a festival and or interstate gigs. Whatever it ia youre setting out to achieve, im sure you'll smash it! All the best mate. Pete aka FS5, Epiphone ES335 Inspired by, Yami CSF3M. 😅
Thanks Pete, Yeah it's hard to maintain the discipline on what seems like trivial things.. in my case regular gig contacts is a good example.. it just needs to be a daily habit.. that's where all the new opportunities come from. As I said in the vid I take the foot off the gas.. that's a good example as when there's plenty of gigs it doesn't seem so urgent.. but all the little things add up to big growth in 6 months.. constant structured boring stuff seems to make all the difference. I have a mate who is starting a Business and is wasting a ton of energy on detail atm.. is the sign just right, what do you think of the cards..do the colours work.. Dude.. open the damn door and sell something or you don't have a Business!. In my case ...Stop fiddling with guitars and go do some venue research and contacts haha.. still wouldn't mind a black CSF Yamaha.. next year😎
Hi Jason All the best in the new year, I hope you buy a good car and maybe at least one guitar I would like something small, a double 0 or even a single guitar but you already have one, maybe YAMAHA will build an FP5 model for us ;) . It's very interesting and inspiring to follow your development as a musician. consistency and hard work bring results, you set a good example. What's the name of that bluesman you were talking about, Dack or something. you showed his photo. All the best in the new year, many good big concerts Suavic
Hi Suavic, Thanks man same to you. You can never have too many 00's I think they are my favourite size. The solution to everything in my life is more gigs.. then after I sort the car out I can focus on annoying @YamahaGuitarsOfficial to make the FP5 Red Label 00!.. and then the limited edition FP5D with the Trans black top👌.. 44mm nut and vintage style tuners.. man I want that guitar to exist! Doug MacLeod is the guy I mentioned.. I really love this little Blues lesson he did on his channel.. ruclips.net/video/yiFLzLwpt-E/видео.html
@@JasonMckellMusic Hi, I'm sure that Ymaha follows your channel closely and will draw conclusions quickly. 00 is the only model missing from their offer. Thanks for the link to Doug's channel, it turns out that I subscribe to it and it's on Tidal, I just forgot the name but it happens to me often. Speaking of Tidal, maybe you could add songs there, I listen to music from this source a lot, just like millions of people :). Thanks for replying to comments, I will understand that one day you will be too busy to do it. Once again, all the best in the new year Suavic
@masterzippo121 Hi Suavic, I would love an FP5 00 Red label Deluxe.. with the trans black top and tortoiseshell scratch plate.. haha one day man! Yeah Doug’s cool, I first saw him on a National guitars documentary and loved the Ernest Banks stories. Tidal I don’t know that one I’ll check it out. Well I like all the messaging in the channel so hopefully I can reply to most of them still as it grows and get over to play for you one day👍
Both suck for different reasons.. but I'm sure there's plenty more levels of suck available.. I can never understand how anybody ever gets an inflated ego doing this stuff
I 2nd that!

I'd rather play to an empty room than people who don't want to hear you.
