In your book you mentioned the existence of rule Nazi`s. I experienced exactly that. They would quote the society as their authority saying, "the society says this, or the society says that" and never open their bible. It was like hitting a brick wall. It wasn`t spiritual and, if you questioned their reasoning most often, they simply resorted to threats. I other word, you simply were not allowed to question the society who`s rules these men were enforcing.

Eric I know exactly what you mean. I remember during my JC for apostasy an elder on the committee told me to my face that if he finds something in the Bible that isn’t a current teaching of the JWs then he would patiently wait until the GB to come to the same understanding. That was after I told him that my guide is the Bible and I will continue to go by what the Bible says above what the GB says. When he said that to me, at that moment I know I was done. There was nothing else I could say to these men because they weren’t guided by God but were men pleasers. Thank you for continuing to direct people to Jesus. The JWs are being led down a dangerous path and unfortunately many will lose out as they are blindly trusting men.
I wonder about what the Bible says Judas going out and hanging himself. Gee, if the Governing Body discovers THAT, maybe they’ll encourage whomever they believe are “betrayers” to do THAT! You made the wrong decision, and the Elders were right. There are some things that I didn't agree with and I wrote the Branch office and I talked to some Elders about it. But no one seem to agree with me or even understood my point. So what did I do? Well, I didn't do what you did, and said, "I'm done." There is a scripture that God showed me, that I've never heard discussed at our meetings, that really resonates with me. And it is Acts 2:17 Where God says that I will pour out my spirit on every sort of flesh. To me, this means that God will pour out his spirit on people who are not only a member of the Governing Body. Especially people who have insight and go deep in the bible. And so, I realize a long time ago that I understand things a little different and deeper than the average JW. But I also understand the arrangement that God has set up. And I respect that arrangement. I truly believe that God is guiding Jehovah's Witnesses. I also truly believe that only JW has the sayings to everlasting life. And so, like Peter, when Jesus said that we had to eat his flesh and drink his blood, there are some things that at the time I may not understand, but I know of the things that I do understand. And just like Peter, I ain't going no where. Because I know that no one else even accurately knows about the 1000 year reign of Christ and the resurrection of billions of people back to the earth where they will be given a real first chance at everlasting life. I know that God is not a trinity, but he is Jehovah. And he is not going to torture people forever in a hellfire. And lately, to my joy, a lot of things that I wrote the Branch office about, are the same thing that they have changed. Two years ago, I told the Elders that I am not going to turn in time any more. And I also wrote to the Branch about why we can't wear beards. And other things that I hope they change. I don't go around the congregation and promote my way of thinking. But I keep it to myself and close friends and wait to see if Jehovah is going to make changes from the Governing Body. But some of us, may have the gift of discerning and understanding scriptures. and dare I say, in some cases, even more accurately than the Governing Body. But as 1Pet.5:6 says, "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time." If God sees that I have a gift, he will allow me to use it in his due time. And that may be in the new world. Which is fine with me. But until then, I humble myself, as you should have done. Because I understand that the major teachings of the bible from JW have not changed. Other religions don't even know who God is. So where am I going to go. And when the GB makes an announcement that they received some "New Light" on some things that I have been saying that they needed to change for years, I don't say, "Its about time." I am happy that I was on the right track. And I hope that Jehovah keeps on pouring out his spirit on me.

So why do you believe you among all JWs were granted that Gift? Also, in the original Greek Translations, Jehovah or Yahweh, YHWH, is not mentioned AT ALL in the New Testament. Lord is what both Jesus and God is called, both Lord, One and the Same. I am not going to argue your scripture with you yet am giving my Answer to your deep-thinking. Perhaps you can jump ahead and wait for them to blot out the No Blood Doctrine which has killed so many, or, maybe leap slightly apace and cut the Disfellowshipping and Shunning which has hurt many families and resulted in some suicides, and of course, if you think of it before them, please do away with the Two Witness Rule in CSA cases...oh, and maybe discern that women can wear pants to keep them warm in Winter? That would be just fine.

I think we ought to have a Team of Emergency former JWs in every place possible for a thrown-out JW to get to for support, resources, whatever it takes. The churches aren’t doing it except for a lecture on cults once in a blue moon. Therapists don’t specialize in this and certainly may not be affordable. Podcasts won’t help the JW just “disassociated” or “disfellowshipped” and thrown to the street in the “twinkling of an eye”. On that day , Paul wanted to be founded in Jesus , jws wanted to be founded in the organization. John 17:3 Jesus said that eternal life is knowing God the father AND Jesus . It never dawned on me. When I was a jw , 2 Christian’s spoke to me in street ministrie about a personal relationship with Jesus , I didn’t fully understood what they mean. Watchtower never spoke to me about having a personal relationship with Jesus , because they always were hammering on staying close to the organization. Now I know Jesus words , I never knew you . Scary to think about , watchtower standing in the way of jws getting to know Jesus ( personally) not just knowing stuff about him

Thank you Eric! I have a request. How do we follow the scriptural direction to “marry in the lord” once we understand these truths and disconnect our hearts from the watchtower org? I really want a mate. I’m a 30 year old man and I make a suitable living to support a family. I was raised and indoctrinated in the watchtower org, but truth of God and his spirit has lead me to Christian freedom. How would I find a mate in these circumstances? A good question, @Splendiphy. Marrying only in the Lord in the first century meant not marrying a pagan. Today, there are thousands of Christian denominations, all claiming to serve the Lord Jesus. But do they really or are they in fact slaves of men. To comply with that command, you'd need to find someone who truly believes that Jesus is the Lord and who is capable of losing everything to hold on to their relationship with Jesus.

Hi, I am a ex JW. I left in 2012. Since then I struggled with suicidal thoughts and the indoctrination after being in the organisation for over 20 years. I turned to the occult. Something that might help guide you is the answer Jesus gave to the Samaritan woman. Here's the exchange: "So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim where our ancestors worshiped?” Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming-indeed it’s here now-when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. Hello peeteeh, Adding to the reply above, its good to consider something the apostle Peter said during a testing time. Jesus asked the twelve: '“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, *to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life* . We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”' John 6:67-69. Watchtower had us believe that Peter asked "to *where* would we go?", as if we needed to choose a particular religion ie, themselves. But the account actually shows it was about *to whom* do we go. The 'whom' is the one to whom all the prophecies of the Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures) had pointed, the promised seed, Jesus Christ. Of Jesus, God declared, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. *Listen to him* !” Matthew 17:5. We listen to him, by getting to know him through reading the Scriptures; and a good place to begin is with the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. So, with good reason, the apostle Peter declared: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is *no other name* under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 I understand your struggle; its not an easy journey to navigate after watchtower; but persevere and give Gods truth, through the Scriptures, time to help you to heal. “ *Ask* and it will be given to you; *seek* and you will find; *knock* and the door *will* be opened to you. In your book you mentioned the existence of rule Nazi`s. I experienced exactly that. They would quote the society as their authority saying, "the society says this, or the society says that" and never open their bible. It was like hitting a brick wall. It wasn`t spiritual and, if you questioned their reasoning most often, they simply resorted to threats. I other word, you simply were not allowed to question the society who`s rules these men were enforcing.
And it's the " Holy Spirit" ? Appointments and requirements for "Older Men" requirements " Soundness of Mind"? WT in an awkward position with courts and "Satan's courts" giving them counseling.

Eric I know exactly what you mean. I remember during my JC for apostasy an elder on the committee told me to my face that if he finds something in the Bible that isn’t a current teaching of the JWs then he would patiently wait until the GB to come to the same understanding.
That was after I told him that my guide is the Bible and I will continue to go by what the Bible says above what the GB says.
When he said that to me, at that moment I know I was done. There was nothing else I could say to these men because they weren’t guided by God but were men pleasers.

You made the wrong decision, and the Elders were right. There are some things that I didn't agree with and I wrote the Branch office and I talked to some Elders about it. But no one seem to agree with me or even understood my point. So what did I do? Well, I didn't do what you did, and said, "I'm done." There is a scripture that God showed me, that I've never heard discussed at our meetings, that really resonates with me. And it is Acts 2:17 Where God says that I will pour out my spirit on every sort of flesh. To me, this means that God will pour out his spirit on people who are not only a member of the Governing Body. Especially people who have insight and go deep in the bible. And so, I realize a long time ago that I understand things a little different and deeper than the average JW. But I also understand the arrangement that God has set up. And I respect that arrangement. I truly believe that God is guiding Jehovah's Witnesses. I also truly believe that only JW has the sayings to everlasting life. And so, like Peter, when Jesus said that we had to eat his flesh and drink his blood, there are some things that at the time I may not understand, but I know of the things that I do understand. And just like Peter, I ain't going no where. Because I know that no one else even accurately knows about the 1000 year reign of Christ and the resurrection of billions of people back to the earth where they will be given a real first chance at everlasting life. I know that God is not a trinity, but he is Jehovah. And he is not going to torture people forever in a hellfire.
And lately, to my joy, a lot of things that I wrote the Branch office about, are the same thing that they have changed. Two years ago, I told the Elders that I am not going to turn in time any more. And I also wrote to the Branch about why we can't wear beards. And other things that I hope they change. I don't go around the congregation and promote my way of thinking. But I keep it to myself and close friends and wait to see if Jehovah is going to make changes from the Governing Body. But some of us, may have the gift of discerning and understanding scriptures. and dare I say, in some cases, even more accurately than the Governing Body. But as 1Pet.5:6 says, "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time." If God sees that I have a gift, he will allow me to use it in his due time. And that may be in the new world. Which is fine with me. But until then, I humble myself, as you should have done. Because I understand that the major teachings of the bible from JW have not changed. Other religions don't even know who God is. So where am I going to go.
And when the GB makes an announcement that they received some "New Light" on some things that I have been saying that they needed to change for years, I don't say, "Its about time." I am happy that I was on the right track. And I hope that Jehovah keeps on pouring out his spirit on me.

True representatives of Jehovah and Jesus must be both scholarly and honest with large amounts of humility. None of those qualities are evident with the governing body. The first word that comes to my mind is "FRAUDS."

That spoke volumes. If we truly trust Jehovah and Jesus, and read Gods word for ourselves and trust the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, we will find out actually how dangerous the organization is, and Jehovah nor Jesus has nothing to do with it. Who is the Liar? Had Mom saved her baby, the WT would claim: “Oh no. It’s a conscience matter. We don’t disfellowship!” And they’d say that in Court. You see, now they use the word, “Disassociate” which brings shunning too. Who’s lying? Who’s to be held accountable yet never is held accountable? The baby’s photo ends up in a YearBook of children who “died for Jehovah”? I think social workers and ombudsmen and Administrators of hospitals should throw these HLC men out with emergency R.O.s. I think we ought to have a Team of Emergency former JWs in every place possible for a thrown-out JW to get to for support, resources, whatever it takes. The churches aren’t doing it except for a lecture on cults once in a blue moon. Therapists don’t specialize in this and certainly may not be affordable. Podcasts won’t help the JW just “disassociated” or “disfellowshipped” and thrown to the street in the “twinkling of an eye”. What are we going to DO about these liars and their traumatized victims in person? I wonder how liars can be handled.

John 17:3 Jesus said that eternal life is knowing God the father AND Jesus . It never dawned on me.
When I was a jw , 2 Christian’s spoke to me in street ministrie about a personal relationship with Jesus , I didn’t fully understood what they mean.
Watchtower never spoke to me about having a personal relationship with Jesus , because they always were hammering on staying close to the organization.
Now I know Jesus words , I never knew you . Scary to think about , watchtower standing in the way of jws getting to know Jesus ( personally) not just knowing stuff about him

Thank you Eric! I have a request. How do we follow the scriptural direction to “marry in the lord” once we understand these truths and disconnect our hearts from the watchtower org? I really want a mate. I’m a 30 year old man and I make a suitable living to support a family. I was raised and indoctrinated in the watchtower org, but truth of God and his spirit has lead me to Christian freedom. How would I find a mate in these circumstances? I don’t want to misrepresent my position to a faithful jw woman. I don’t think that would be fair to her. I’m lost at this. Thanks
A good question, @Splendiphy. Marrying only in the Lord in the first century meant not marrying a pagan. Today, there are thousands of Christian denominations, all claiming to serve the Lord Jesus. But do they really or are they in fact slaves of men. To comply with that command, you'd need to find someone who truly believes that Jesus is the Lord and who is capable of losing everything to hold on to their relationship with Jesus.

Hi, I am a ex JW. I left in 2012. Since then I struggled with suicidal thoughts and the indoctrination after being in the organisation for over 20 years.
I turned to the occult. But something keeps pulling me back to jesus and Jehovah. I have visited some churches, but they do not seem right. My girlfriend is catholic, and I know how they teach tradition of men. Where should I turn to. I feel like I am looking for something I cannot find
Something that might help guide you is the answer Jesus gave to the Samaritan woman. Here's the exchange:
"So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim where our ancestors worshiped?” Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming-indeed it’s here now-when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:20-24 NLT)
So the point is not to look for an organized religion to worship God, but rather gather with others who worship in spirit and in truth. Adding to the reply above, its good to consider something the apostle Peter said during a testing time. Jesus asked the twelve: '“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, *to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life* . We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”' John 6:67-69.
Watchtower had us believe that Peter asked "to *where* would we go?", as if we needed to choose a particular religion ie, themselves. But the account actually shows it was about *to whom* do we go. The 'whom' is the one to whom all the prophecies of the Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures) had pointed, the promised seed, Jesus Christ.
Of Jesus, God declared, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. *Listen to him* !” Matthew 17:5.
We listen to him, by getting to know him through reading the Scriptures; and a good place to begin is with the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
So, with good reason, the apostle Peter declared: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is *no other name* under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
I understand your struggle; its not an easy journey to navigate after watchtower; but persevere and give Gods truth, through the Scriptures, time to help you to heal. “ *Ask* and it will be given to you; *seek* and you will find; *knock* and the door *will* be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7+8
Take time to consider this beautiful reassurance from Jesus:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

All religion is false. There is true worship and there is false worship, but when it comes to religion, all is false, because religions requires you to follow the interpretation of human leaders.

@andyszumilak9945 -- All Bible translations are made with a vested interest and all have their biases. I don't use just one translation but look at many. The KJV is not my favorite version as it is heavily influenced by the trinitarian traditions and man made doctrine.

Mr. Wilson, I don't know if its just my situation or more wide spread, but I can hear you but at a much reduced volume But I do hear you fairly well. Other parts of the video. such as the parts where the Black Brother speaks, I hear at the normal volume. Just thought I'd let you know i case I'M not the only one. I'm in North Carolina, USA if that helps you at all. Keep up the good work!
