When it’s used it’s to be sharp like a needle so having multiple boxes of each H, HB,and B pre sharpened, once dull you put it aside and pick up the next sharp stick, resharpen on your drawing breaks. It’s usually done on cold press water color paper like arches bright white and Fabriano Artistico white and Fabriano Roma paper some times mi tienties. The process can be very time consuming but yields great results.

Sadly ,that the speed that I work with , Nitram gets ' lost in the sauce '. Even the willow and vine. Too focus on my result

Very good and informative video, but the background music is very disturbing and annoying.

I imagine by now you know that Nitram is NOT a vine charcoal. Still a very nice, very useful review. Thank you.

So many dead artists would have used Nitram. Quite likely even Ingres instead of his graphite . We are living in unique time

So much of Nitram is wasted (TONS).
