Clone Wars fans. How emotional was it for you to see young Anakin as a force ghost after all he did in the Clone Wars and brought balance to the force?
It was refreshing. Uplifting, even.
As someone who’s first Star Wars was the Clone Wars I still prefer old Anakin. It just makes more sense and fits better thematically with the movie.
Anakin never brought ballance to the force. The chosen one prophecy is a bunch of bullshit.
HaroldDaSavage Not really. The burnt older man is the identity of Darth Vader while the young one is the identity of Anakin.
AlexDeGhost but he becomes Anakin again at the end of film, Anakin is supposed to be never truly dead, the last time he was Anakin was as a burnt man when he turns good again

@@Troy_Coryell i had eleven years old when i watched the movies before going to sleep in my home, i didn't really liked them, if i watched the movies to the theater it would have been much more exciting it's basically my parents's fault but my parents don't like star wars

I thought I hated Star Wars because of the sequels. After the Rise of Skywalker came out, I was just too tired to care anymore. But this music made me realize that I still love Star Wars, that I have _always_ loved it, deep down inside. This is the music of the true Skywalker Saga, and nobody can convince me otherwise.

Star Wars consists of far more than the sequels. Whether it is cannon or not. I'm not a fan of the sequels myself, but it doesn't prevent me from continuing to like Star Wars.

I may be late but I recommend the Dark Empire and Thrawn trilogy. For most, they’re the real sequels.
I just realized how wholesome their celebration is. Instead of the galaxy’s biggest heroes going to Coruscant to party, they chose to celebrate with the Ewoks on Endor.
Just goes to show how humble they are...
Plus, from a practical standpoint, it's a long way from Endor to Coruscant.

@@sebby24601 There was a planetwide metropolis in the concept art stages, but it wasn't called Coruscant. I know it's name was used for another planet in the expanded universe.

Just graduated highschool and am now listening to this and it's just... wow. It's finally over and I'm going to boot camp in 3 months. Leaving behind all the friends I've made in the past 4 years to close the last page of this chapter and start a new. Even through the grief of leaving them, it's a victory in a sense making it through

Is it bad that at 1:32 it makes me feel like I finally have true friends, and this part of the song made me finally realise that there are people who want me around and are also proud of me, the song has such a modest and warm feel to it, it draws you closer to the good memories of life, happiness and all, I felt it all. And instead of seeing master kenobi, Skywalker and Yoda, I saw my friends that I feel like I finally have 🙂

Hey, I've been thinking about maybe making a mod for Empire at War that replaces all of the music with your music. Would you be cool with that? You would receive full credit, of course. (P.S. Some more battle themes would be quite nice, as well, like TIE Fighter Attack, The Asteroid Field, The Battle of Hoth, etc.)

King Rex I 100% agree with having more battle themes
The true end of the Skywalker saga was in Return of the Jedi, Anakin came back to the light moments before passing, finally overthrew the emperor and fufilled his destiny. The ST will never capture the same feeling as it did in the OT and even PT.
The music at the end of Episode 6 always seems to get me feeling emotional, more than anything else from Star Wars. A happy sad feeling, and a fair bit more visceral than some of the more epic scores like Dual of the Fates or even the Force theme. And that’s saying a lot, because Star Wars has always had awesome music that gets your emotions running in one direction or the other.

This will always be my favorite Star Wars song right under Duel of the Fates - it's emotional, it's triumphant, it just gives you this soothing comfort to look towards the future and bury the past. It's so innocent-sounding at first but it sends chills up my spine every time the choir kicks in. This will always be my end to Star Wars. The only idea that has yet to convince me otherwise of the story that happens after Return of the Jedi is the Mandalorian.

This theme always made me emotional to the point of crying. Even though I was born into the last 3 prequels, I never watched them until I was older. I grew up with the originals. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, C3-PO and R2D2 were the OG gang! May the force be with them...

That reminds me: I hope to be that person to reboot the sequel trilogy because I believe Star Wars can be fixed, despite me actually liking the sequel trilogy. And if Samuel can compose something original without borrowing from John Williams, he can make a great composer because going by this video, he's certainly onto something. Despite my idea being a little different, I think you came up with something that's really cool. (4-20-2020)
When i first watched star wars OT, i saw it as story of luke. When i watched it again after watching prequels, i saw it story of anakin and his redemption.Luke was the catalyst for his redemption and fulfillment of chosen one's destiny.

Thank you so much Samuel Kim, you don’t know how much this means to me as this was always my favorite and best ending of Star Wars. This theme gives me goosebumps and so much emotion and this is so much more better. Even the added ending of ROTJ is just awesome. ROTJ is my favorite SW movie.
