He had come here for a reason--he had a task to complete. He was the last of his kind, the Jedi, and Luke Skywalker was his name. But he was not alone. For he had with him the knowledge of the future. And a bright and happy future it was, for he would soon embark on a quest to pass on what he'd learned, to uphold the legacy that had been gifted to him when he was a small boy. Back then he had been naive and innocent--he still was, in a way--but now he carried with him something new. At last he reached his destination. A pile of sticks and logs lay before him, and upon it rested the armor of a man who would only be known throughout the galaxy as a cruel and heartless monster. Perhaps it was true--he was more machine than human--but the galaxy had only seen one side of him. Because Luke knew better. Here was a man who was broken, who had been struggling within himself between the pulls of the Light and Dark, who had been a slave all his life and was only set free in his final moments. Here was Anakin Skywalker. No sooner had Luke set fire to the body than he felt a soft breeze. It was a gentle touch, and it hummed with a presence that he had only felt for a few short moments, yet he knew all the same. He turned around slowly, and his eyes fell upon a luminous blue being that glowed brighter than the torch he held. The being's face was serene, his features soft and his lips set in a benign smile. The corners of Luke's own mouth twitched upward, and his eyes widened with delight. "Father!" Anakin Skywalker was tall, blonde, and handsome, with a lean yet muscular frame. The physical manifestation of his Force spirit was unfamiliar to Luke, yet he resembled his son so strongly that there was no mistaking it. Luke stepped forward, making no attempt to stop the joyful tears that were now falling freely down his face, and reached out a hand to touch the ghost. His hand went right through it. He sighed, but it was not a sound of sadness or disappointment...only longing. For indeed, he longed to touch his father, to be with him, to somehow make up for all the time they never had. Anakin sensed his thoughts, or perhaps he was thinking the same thing, for his eyes shown with an equal amount of wistfulness. "Do not weep, my beautiful boy," he murmured. "You have achieved balance, not only in the Force, but within yourself. You have become a far greater Jedi than I could ever hope to be. You have seen and grown so much, and now, because of you...I am at peace." Luke glanced back at the burning armor that had once belonged to Darth Vader. The flames leapt around it hungrily, consuming it as they had once consumed Anakin. But that time was long gone now. He nodded once. "Come," beamed Anakin, "let us join the revelry." And together, father and son made their way back to the celebration.

The Endor Holocaust theory substantially overestimates the size of the Death Star, and also drastically underestimates the size of Endor. The shots we get of Endor in the film imply that it is much larger than Earth.
