Part 2. Sound Design out now! ⚡ ruclips.net/video/QXFsNRyifOg/видео.html
Great breakdown.
The chords/bass section reminded me of the Dave Spoon remix of Tyken - Every Word. Very similar vibe IMO.
MORE SAMMY VIRJI PLS❤
finally someone breaking down the actual theory behind the music I like, love your channel so far bro keep it up
Part 2. Sound design should be coming later next week, let me know any other tracks you’d like to see!

Can't wait for the Sound Design part 2 of this one. I'm dying to know how to make that chord synth
You can watch it now, i've just uploaded it 😀 ruclips.net/video/QXFsNRyifOg/видео.html
Super helpful. I went to Sammy Virji concert and have been really inspired. I make mostly dnb, but have been fascinated by this genre and it has been good to learn about it from you.
thanks for covering ukg!
These vids are so great! Really appreciate them

this song has been giving me deadmau5 vibes and its totally cause of the 1/8. chords lol
Yes such a staple sound in a deadmau5 track!
Great Video
Thanks!
The vocal sample is from Splice, I’ve just it in a house track also
Thank you, I didn’t know! What’s the name of the sample and pack?
man you're in my head for what I need huh
We do everything! ⚡️
it will be really helpful if you start a series where you remake songs from scratch and share your thought process while doing it
Thanks for the suggestion, I will look at doing something like this in the future, most likely as a livestream but I don't have a good setup for that yet 😀
Man this was so fucking helpful you are the GOAT 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, make sure to subscribe for more!
great video man!!
Thankyou 🙂
Great vid, thanks man.
Would love to see an Oppidan track breakdown too, how is that bouncy feeling created.
True, I do have an Oppidan track on the list already but it might be a while until it comes out.
I'm looking forward to it!
this is great, could you try doing a track analysis of Peach by Salute/Sammy Virji? I really love that one and the way they switch up the song section to section
Thankyou!, I've been looking for the name of that song for a while, I will put it on the list but I have a few others to make before that so it may be a while before I look at it, but thank you again for the suggestion, great tune. ⚡️
It is a splice Acapella. I stumbled across it after the song came out.
Yes thank you I didn't realise when recording it, it's crazy how much splice has changed the music industry
Do you have any recommendations for some quality uk style sample packs ? Always wondered what salute and Sammy use for there samples
I don't know any specific samplepacks that I could recommend as I would mainly make my own samples by combining multiple samples, or synthesising them but here are some suggestions:
Drum Machines
I think a lot of the classic drum machines have good samples and there is a big free library on google if you search drum machine samples, but they might need a bit of processing to get them sounding powerful in the mix.
Drum Breaks
A lot of the drums in ukg sound like they have been taken from drum breaks though as the sounds are more realistic than the electronic synthesised drums, so you could download some breaks and slice them up into individual samples but you just need to be careful what breaks you use as some aren't royalty free and you may need to clear the samples when releasing a track.
Acoustic Drum samplepacks are also very good for snares in particular, but again need some processing and shaping.
Awesome video bro! Any chance of sharing the serum preset for the chords/bass?
The breakdown samplepack will be included in the description of Pt.2, which is coming out this week. Thankyou 😀
The sample is from Splice. I found it while I was looking for a vocal sample for a track in the style of this one lol
I’ve just seen two other comments pointing this out. I can’t remember the name of the pack it was in, unfortunately!
@@TommyHoareIt’s in the pack called “Moody RNB Vocals” by Komorebi Audio
Idk abt ur other viewers but looking at a folded scale piano roll is so annoying 4 me coz u loose all the interval information which imo is necessary for understanding melodies luv ur work
Ah okay I’ll have a look how I can show them better, would it be better so show the none folded for the accurate semitones instead of the scale number?
imo that would be better maybe look 4 more audience feedback tho
