Thanks for your instructions. I just bought these poles and could not figure out how to assemble them. I found the written diagrams which came with the poles difficult to interpret. Your presentation showed me how easy it is to lock the sections in place.

Thanks for your question! These poles will work for skiing, however, ski poles are somewhat specialized and are typically a one or two piece pole for added durability.
