@@skeetalite6234 He also said he spent weeks in the gym building up the right side of his body so his left side would look smaller - just like the real Dury's. Now that's dedication.
my boyfriend & myself were there for this at the front on left hand side we all had to crouch down the intro & then all jump up etc we were extras for all the gig scenes it was supposed to be Hammersmith Odeon but was filmed at Watford theatre & they cut some amazing stuff out of the film & didn't even inc them as extras on the dvd a massive shame
i'm right at the front for this I was an extra in the film I remember when he's talking the intro we were all crouching down & had to jump up when it started & it's supposed to a gig at Hammersmith Odeon but it was at Watford Theatre Brilliant couple of day's but they cut some amazing stuff out of the film that they should of left in
Was you mean since he’s dead sadly but you should listen to him he’s a great musician he’s like William Shakespeare if William was a musician I’m not kidding Shakespeare did the rhyming couplets and the innuendos like Ian did he done other great songs like hit me with your rhythm stick and sex and drugs and rock and roll and reasons to be cheerful part 3
i don't recall Ian Dury wearing that weird white nosferatu face paint.... i like andy serkis but the resemblance just isn't there.... didn't like him in this role. He did nail the singing parts though...
great film, Andy Serkis an amazing performance.
awesome transformation into Ian Dury 100%
Wonderful and very accurate to the wonderful and dearly missed Ian Dury
Whoud've thought that Andy Serkis could sing, other than the fact that he's exact lyrics from the original song.
Did he really get his voice like dury’s? He did that song incredibly well! Can you confirm he really sang like that?
@@monkey-trial...6578 yo Ik it’s been a year but yes, he sounds a bit like him normally so he just deppend his voice, he said it in an interview

Well don't leave us hanging, what did they leave out from the movie that was filmed that day?
I went to the last in gig in London, when I was ten with my dad.

0:09 GAH!!!!!! I love you, Andy. =D
fucking fantastic movie. I don't see why the critics were so harsh on it.

I'm down the front in the gig scenes it was supposed to be Hammersmith Odeon but was at Watford theatre 🎥

Andy's voices and gestures are terriffic
why'd they make him look like a vampire?
Ian Dury used face paint sometimes.
Is he the one singing?!
6 years and No One has answered your question, but yes.
