I also remember watching your hubby creating a log of your bags and I always meant to do the same, but haven’t! You have a beautiful Epi collection xx PS your Alma was on my wishlist for so long and I missed getting it.
Is that never full double sided? What do u call when u can flip it inside out and u can use it that way? Is the epi leather version like that, where u can use it flipping inside out?

I would love your insight on this please, I wanted a durable daily tote bag and hate logos everywhere somehow so i stayed away from LV until I discovered the ebi noir leather option. Is it worth it? or should I stick to getting myself a ysl black tote in leather?
Hi Angie - I have heard that the YSL bag is a great buy. I do not have it myself so hard for me to comment on it’s durability but it does look good. As you probably know I am a big believer in Epi leather. It is so durable and easy to wipe over if it gets a stain or rained on. I think if you want a more traditional leather go for the YSL bag. Epi leather is not the traditional sort of leather ( hard to put into words) but one that LV can mould into different structures or softness. For eg the Alma in Epi is a more structured Epi bag my neverfull is a bit softer etc. I have had my Epi bags for many years now and never regret the purchase and love the colours they come in. The only thing I have on my Epi Bag is a few scratches but it was user error not the bag itself as they do not mark easily at all. My neverfull I walked into a brick wall and my Alma bag my puppy had sharp nails so really my fault both times. Good luck in deciding

I have 4 epis in my collection, the alma pm in black, petite noe in dark blue (forgot the right term), compact zippy wallet in dark pink and emily wallet in dark blue - this is the only epi leather i have with a different texture. Its not shiny at all. I got them to send me another one but they were both the same. They said the leathers not all the same sometimes. Really? I found that a bit weird.

I know what you mean. The canvas you can do that with but the EPI I don’t think you could as the bag has a bit more structure.
