Your problems are normal for the breed and the DIY you implemented indicates you will do well with the coach. Happy trails.
Fix the fan ASAP. Moisture control and ventilation of bath area very important. Ditch the stovetop cover and get a real nice cutting board to fit the space.

Be very careful if you put a wood cutting board over your stove top. Our neighbors down the street did that. It caught on fire after they left for the day. Their home is still under repair, almost a year later.

Mt trailer was rolled over but it has a Oak hickory hardwood floor and redoing interior light weight
