Maybe do some research on the car you’re wanting to purchase. Bit closed minded to shut off the Grand Cherokee because YOU decided to not take a closer look. I’ve had my 2017 Grand Cherokee since 2021 with 0 issues until now, but this video solved my problem.
So for this code you don’t reset the code but drive it to see if it clears it on its own right? I had a customer with a CEL but I didn’t have time to scan it but he did say it was something with the fuel door or cap.
Anything for the rear window wiper? Code says there's a fault but it works properly. Annoying that the check engine light prevents remote start for the winter time.

Idk, if u can help me, but I am literally desperate… I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2018, Summit, diesel and I have the following problem since months, after starting the engine check light goes on and after a couple of minutes the red flash (electronic throttle control) goes on as well, the performance of the engine decrease. If I turn off the engine und start again, the red flash is gone, but appears again and again … I was already 5 times by a Jeep dealer (2 different), but none of them was able to solve the problem. They have changed a lot of hoses and I paid a lot of money 😢 for nothing, as my car has the same problem…last week they called me to come an pick up the car, because they don’t have any solution for the problem… thx
Worked like a charm. I didn’t drive immediately afterward. My car sat for over an hour before my first startup and light was off.

I just open the flapper for a few seconds. It drives normal but it happens too often. Anyone wanna buy a jeep in great condition!!
