What happened to singing for Jesus?
Stop thinking that Christian artists are ONLY allowed to sing christian music. As long as the secular crap isnt on the track it's fine. I respect your opinion though, and I get it. But I think the hardest part about being a christian musician is people boxing you in and saying you only have you sing Christian music, and thats not right. No matter what genre he sings he still have a relationship with Christ and that is all that matters!

You don't think Christians can do anything but sing Christian music to spread the gospel? We're all called to spread the gospel, no matter what our jobs or where we work. Mac is still spreading the gospel with his music. He's just spreading a wider net now. Go see one of his shows. You'll see what I mean.

It totally breaks my heart that your not singing for jesus anymore.
It breaks my heart that a fellow Christian is crictizing another Christian about them not playing music that you don't like. Regardless of what music he plays he will bring people to Jesus, I'm a metal head and i do like some Christian music but Third Day and Mac Powell can do whatever they want. Remember what Jesus said don't judge I'm a Christian no matter what you think or others and so is Mac so stop thinking he just quit loving Jesus.
@@levibush5842 Shelly Miller isn't criticizing Mac. I kinda wish Mac was still singing Christian music but no matter what he's singing I will support him.
Mac is still spreading the gospel with his music. He's just spreading a wider net now, gathering in fish that wouldn't go to a Christian concert, but would go to a country concert. Go see one of his shows. You'll see what I mean.
What makes you think he's not? May I suggest you check out one of his country shows and find out for yourself that he is still in it!!

I have one question and that's this, where is the conduction upon this man. So so sad that MANY in Christian music today have no conduction in at all.
The popular thing in Christian music today is to do crossover and singing secular music and, sadly, their Christian followers follow them over to the world. What ever happened to coming out and being separate or living not the world. Well ya know those are negative verses so we stay away from them SMH. Whatever happened to the whole council of GOD instead of cherry picking the bible.
I'm amazed at the comments and how they're encouraging Mac. If these are true Christians they'd be calling him out not encouraging him. For me this is no surprise cause I saw it on their offerings dvd. I noticed how the band was bragging about all the secular concerts they've been to at the same time saying that they grew up in church and saying that they incorporate in their concerts what they've seen secular rock bands to. If you profess to be a Christian and get all your influence from the world and not from God or the bible I'd be concerned that your salvation is not genuine and that you very well could be a false convert thinking yourself to be saved and on your way to heaven but in reality you never have been saved to begin with.
And I know this isn't gonna over well and many are gonna accuse me of judging. It won't surprise me cause if people actually knew what the bible says you wouldn't be saying that
