Any way you could make a “panic” button. Where any open doors will close but anything thats already closed will stay that way? I feel like a this would be a bad idea since it could allow someone thats deep to go even deeper if one of the closed doors opens up.
What I have done to "fix it" is to place the smart switch on a twig wall with a trap shotgun behind it, if someone is raiding your base and break the twig, or try to use the switch it will break the smart switch, cutting the power for the doors and closing everything.
Remove the HBHF sensor from the circuit and it will work properly. You will need to run the wire that went into the HBHF straight into the left hand AND Input A. All wiring is exactly the same. The circuit in the video works BUT you have to stay in range of the HBHF sensor for the doors to stay open. If you run away from the switch location then they will close again. The circuit in the video is meant for closing all the doors in a panic situation and the HBHF sensor is there so that only those with TC auth can use it, hence the title.
Never, I repeat NEVER do this in your base. As soon as raiders will get TC access (and they will if they are noot complete noobs) they will re-wire your doors and get freee access to them under THEIR controll.
You can make a separate triangle room for this. Make sure the first door is not connected. You can also make this setup in an honeycomb with a bed/bag. This so the raiders can’t find the buttom and if, they probably already destroyed the setup because of boom damage.
If your base is multi TC this is a non issue, any base large enough to feel the need to have door controllers is likely multi TC. For single TC bases this is a valid concern.
@@Lunatiq. Raiding a single TC does not give you access to smart switches. Smart switches require TC access and the overlapping priveledge does in fact stop them from being useable.
I dont even play rust but i watched the whole thing. Nice video
Thank you, much appreciated. More to come :)

I’m going to test it, when i was making this I could not see how to do it. But I’m going to take an extra look

That is super smart, great way to do the job
This OPENS and THEN CLOSES all doors. Not quite what I was wanting and was grossly mislead by the title. Good tutorial if that's what I wanted though!

@@jerxor I still have the same issue without the HBHF -all doors open and then close.
Shhhhhhhhhhh
Can you make it so your main gate stays open to lure people in then push button close it to trap the people that came in ?
if you use smart switch just hook up the swart switch directly to the door controller
Didn’t think about that when I was building…. Thank you!
You beat me to it :D
Does the door stay close if you press the button twice
No, when you press it for the second time they open en then close.
these circuits are good, I dont use them on loot rooms, if the attacker gain TC access they can use the electrics to open all doors otherwise
True, i would not recommend that. Just main doors only!
I must test this.
It will work :)
I dont like this because if you are getting raided and push the button to close all door u are going to open every door first to do this.
Yes and no, it depends how big your base is…

No you can't. People will rewire door controllers directly, and you can't place those anywhere but close to the door.

You need to raid a SINGLE TC to get access to the entire base, multi TC concept is invalid, please learn how multi TC works.
