Good to know that people over the pond are benefiting from one of Natalie's (NB cards) great ideas. She is so inventive. Giving her channel a mention would have been a kind gesture.
thanks.. i just looked at her account... It was not her video that I saw, but that is indeed the same tip! thanks! the video I saw was from several months ago. Like I mentioned in the video, I tried and tried to find the video I watched and was not successful. It was not Natalie, but thank you for leading me to her channel.

Thank you for this amazing tip!! I bought the brushes from your link. That was a couple of months ago. I finally got around to doing this. Thank you again!!
Thank you for the ideas and saying you learned it from someone else. You were very nice and you tried to find out started it. I honor you for admitting it. 😊😊😊
Great tip, thanks for sharing. ❤ I usually use a sponge but I like this idea. Also, there are so many crafters out there and a lot of tips are repeated, let’s be kind when commenting. Have a great day, everyone.
Watched the replay on youtube and this tip is genius --happened to have a silicone brush in my kitchen --- now it is a permanent tool in my card room !!!! Thanks so much
This is a fantastic tip! I do wish people would pay attention, you DID say that you tried to find the person you got it from!!! Thank you for sharing, and I will be trying to tune in for your watercolor live!
thank you. yes, I did say that several times.. and trust me.. I googled and searched for 2 days trying to find the original video I watched.. I always do my best to give credit where credit is due!! :)
@ I’m a demo, my team leader is Brenda Quintana. One thing I’ve learned from over 30 years of stamping (only 3 in Stampin’ Up)) is that most paper crafters are happy to share ideas. The other thing is that it can be very hard to find the origin of an idea. It is very possible that a number of people come up with the same idea. Your video came up under one I watched from UK demonstrator Jazzle Dazzle Crafts with Janice. I was intrigued by the title and picture, so I watched. I also subscribed. I got the watercolor kit. I do watercolor, but usually with tube watercolors, so I’ll enjoy seeing your process. The images you already painted look beautiful!
Thank you, i will start watching her. It was not her video that I saw.. the one I saw was from several months ago, but thanks for pointing me to her channel.
Thank you, thank you for sharing the tip about using the silicone brush for adhering detailed die cuts! I bought the brushes right away and just used this tip with my Decorative Trees dies! Miraculously easy to adhere! I have not seen this tip shared elsewhere so I’m glad you passed it along to us. It’s a game changer!❤
Thanks for sharing! Like you I have been stamping for many years. I’ve tried using a Xyron machine. A sponge. Adhesive sheets too. I’ve run into the same problems with glue coming through the small spaces too. I’ve learned glue and foils don’t mix! I’m trying this soon!
The video was from NB Cards. I watched it a few days ago as well. :) Great idea. I've been using a sponge to dab the glue on, but then I end up with a mucky sponge! The silicone brush will be easy to clean up.
thanks.. i just looked at her account... It was not her video that I saw, but that is indeed the same tip! thanks! the video I watched was from several months ago, but thanks for leading me to Natalie's channel.
What a wonderful tip. I will have to try this. Such a great idea with the silicone brush, love this. Thank you Patty. And these cards are just gorgeous.
I watched someone yesterday using the silicone brush when using metallic flakes. She didn't link where to buy them. So I'm glad I caught the replay of your video. Thanks.
Great idea that you passed on. I'm sorry so many crafters took an attitude about you not posting name of person you saw it from. We all I'm sure watch tons of videos so it can be hard to remember. We should be grateful our ideas get shared regardless of the acknowledgement .
I’m surprised at the number of people who have left “snarky” replies. I don’t know either one of these people. However, she mentioned in the very beginning that she got this tip from somebody else so it’s not like she tried to take credit for somebody else’s idea. You could have left a kinder message.
I have those little brushes I got them cheaply from Temu. Now I will go get one from my kitchen and add it to my crafting equipment/supplies! Thanks for the new glue tip!
Fantastic tip. I will have to place an order for the brushes. Thank you for sharing as I had not used my thin cut words due to the difficulty in applying glue.
I saw NB cards video as well and immediately ordered a set of the silicone brushes from Amazon! I plan to share the brushes with my card making family and friends.
I saw this on your blog and ordered the brushes even before I watched the video. I just knew it would be a great tip from you! And it is! Thank you for sharing! And Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi there, watching the replay of your video. I actually was able to buy one of those flat silicone brushes at dollar tree which I’ve had for a while and😮 it’s from the make up section. Thanks for all the great tips and the beautiful projects.
Hi. I saw this tip on the NB cards video. I thought this was a great idea. I went to Dollar Store & bought two. One was more of a bbq brush. I had my husband cut the handle down so as not to get in the way. I still got glue on my hands when placing the die cuts 😏 Thanks, Patty. Great cards
Must admit that although the great silicone tip (seen a long time ago) was good, I was more interested in the paper that Patty had stuck the word JOY too. I have similar paper in my stash by Craft Consortium that I can use for small Christmas goodie bags. Many thanks Patty for reminding me of this technique and giving me a nudge into using what I already have. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you over the pond and also have a great Christmas. Kind regards Jackie M UK😊
Definitely going to try this. I’ve done the sponge trick and the sticky backing with limited success. By the way use the cut bristles of the brush for a shaker card.😂
People need to learn to chill. I just searched silicone glue brush and quite a few videos came up, even as long as 12 years ago… great tip, use it or leave it….easy as that 😊
you probably already saw it.. but I included that info about cleaning the brush and the mat here: ruclips.net/video/BHkqn4KJ2Jk/видео.htmlsi=8A0LwJmHNSdbmB9O&t=1706

Do your best to ignore the woman who felt it was a necessary to make accusations towards you. I have never run across one of your posts so I don’t know you personally. Obviously, your poster has a serious set of issues, let her keep them.

And when she saw the NB Cards video after everyone blasted her for not having given credit, she said it was NOT that video she saw the idea on. People share ideas (thankfully) but they are going to stop, and keep them to themselves, if they get treated like Patty’s being treated. Kindness matters but I’m seeing too much lack of kindness in the comments and it breaks my heart a bit. Paper crafting should bring us all joy, not be so nit-picky.

Patty, the video was by NB cards, Natalie Bowers in the UK. She is fantastic! I went out and bought those brushes immediately after I saw it, too!
I saw this too and immediately went to my kitchen drawers to find the 2 I had and never used😅

Straight cutting edge important? Wrap a piece of masking tape around the brush "bristles" then cut off at the uniform, straight edge.
thank you!!

It's Real Red Cardstock, I added the MERRY to the cardstock with this gluing tip, then fussy cut with Paper Snips
Patty. How do you clean the brush
you probably already saw it.. but I included that info about cleaning the brush and the mat here: ruclips.net/video/BHkqn4KJ2Jk/видео.htmlsi=8A0LwJmHNSdbmB9O&t=1706
I’ve always used Stampin’ Up’s sponge to do this tip does not get glue all over either.
So glad that works well for you!!!
Great tip, do you just wash the brushes? I love the water color cards you showed.
If you missed it.. here is the section about cleaning the brush and the mat: ruclips.net/video/BHkqn4KJ2Jk/видео.htmlsi=MVjCjUD_afcttyeQ&t=1704
I would love to see a Black Friday tutorial on the Coloring kit.

Hello from Plato, Mo.
So, how do you get the glue off the little “brush” tip now??
You probably already saw it but at the end of the video I gave tips on that and cleaning the silicone mat
Friday would be fine with me.
Sorry you have received so much negativity regarding this tip. If the video was watched in its entirety before commenting …thanks for sharing this tip
THank you... I agree. I did my very best.
Oh, such a great tip!! Reminds me of the old-fashioned way us “Boomers” used to add wallpaper paste to wallpaper in the 1980s. 😂
