Welcome to my cozy, mountain tavern! :) Most of these songs are improvised on my harp, besides a few authentic songs from the Middle Ages that I threw in. I hope you enjoy! Check out my whole playlist of D&D/TTRPG soundscapes that I have created: ruclips.net/p/PLzisT38mK_kCbP5cEr048b4bIGFjt1Atp&si=QRcZ0m1pz4myKe-S
I spent all my college years listening to Medieval folk and Troubadour music like an absolute NERD and am proud to put it to use by being able to improvise hours of medieval-y sounding music for y'all. Please subscribe so the people who teased me can be proven wrong. 😂(This is Meadow on my other Harp Channel account. 🙂)
I like how you are giving variety, tavern with talking, tavern without talking. All good stuff! I had a Gregorian chant playlist when I was in college, definitely good for studying or writing papers.
Thanks for noticing the variety! It is intentional. :) I also had a Gregorian chant playlist for studying and writing. This is one reason we get along so swimmingly.
That was great! Been looking for something like this for a while for studying. Would love to visit a tavern just like that someday. I don't know how to play any instruments, though I've recently taken an interest in building Lyres, a cousin of the harp. Thought it was a cool coincidence to be linked this video just a day after completing my first one.
I'm glad you found this video, and that is awesome about building lyres! Are you planning more builds? I hope you can learn how to play at least a little bit, so you can enjoy that part, too. My dad built my main harp (you can see it in most videos in my harp channel @MeadowFox), and together he and I built my smaller lap harp, which is also in a few videos. Have you heard of Musicmakers? They are a small company in Minnesota, USA with kits and blueprints for lots of folk instruments. They are a fantastic team. It is where I got my harps, and I'm an official partner with them (#sponsored :) ) Their site is harpkit.com, and if you buy anything, use MEAOWFOX for a discount! I just figured I'd share that info, since it sounds like it could be a good fit for you.
@@MeadowScapes I hadn't heard of them but will have to check them out! The first lyre was a really enjoyable build. I tossed classical guitar strings on it and tuned the lowest to where it sounded good. After walking up the scale it ended up being G, A, B, C, D, E, F. I have been messing around on it using tabs from a 7 key kalimba and it sounds pretty neat. I already have my next build planned to be based on the kravik lyre. At some point I also want to try a stick dulcimer.
