Hello Marcus. It sure looks like you had a relaxing and fun flight for Labor Day. Thank you for your informative thoughts and suggestions. I enjoy led your flight over this gorgeous park👏👏.
Hyperlape and courselock I have never used, I will now. And yet another up date, for your big bird with three eyes and my 3 Classic. Turn off obstacle avoidance down cameras, when last week needed a very low down shot. Even with all obstacle off, I could on get the shot I wanted. I dygres. this an intriguing video calm and relaxing and infromative too. lovely.
Better and better features all the time! Tech geeks like me hesitate to buy one because in 6 months there is something way better. One feature that would be neat on the Mini 4 is digital zoom on photos as well as videos. Did I hear you right? Can RID be enabled/disabled on the M3Pro? That would allow a Part 107 flyer who is flying for recreation, to disable it. People might ask why disable it. It uses battery power and processor time. Longer flight time would be a big plus. Thanks for another entertaining video!
Nice Marcus!!! I have the M3P with the RC. Unfortunately I hardly use the quick shots. However after watching your video. I should start using it! I do use the spotlight and the POI which is awesome. Thanks!!! Thumbs Up!!!
Hi Marcus, I would like to see the new Mini 4 have an internal fan. The current Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro have SDKs where I use them for mapping application. I doubt that the Mini 4 will have SDK's any time soon. Now that the Mavic 3 is no longer being made, I would like to see DJI put out an SDK for the Mavic 3.
Great video to inspire us hobbyists to get our M3P in the air more often, thanks for sharing! One random question: do you happen to know of any way to MANUALLY tilt the gimbal upwards at 80º? I do a lot of 360º photography, and while the automated sphere DOES seem to tilt the gimbal all the way up to 80º, manually I only seem to be able to tilt it up to 60º. The reason I like to take photos manually when doing 360s is that I can then take all photos in 48MP and therefore get a much higher end resolution. (I suppose bracketing is another possibility when doing it manually, but I haven't tried that yet.) Thanks in advance!
Nice flight, the Mini 3 Pro is still a very good drone. I’m sure a lot of people will skip getting the Mini 4 Pro, especially if it’s only an incremental upgrade. Great video, and thanks for sharing Marcus.
Finally, an honest drones youtuber using the word NEWS rather than LEAKS with regards to the released information about an upcoming new model. You may be the only youtuber I truly believe. Looking at the M4P box, it seems this won't be that much of an upgrade compared to the M3P: Omnidirectional is nice, but in reality, most videos/photos are taken in heights where there are no obstacles anyways. Waypoints is, again, nice to have, but how many times will you really use it? As for O4 - that could be a true upgrade, not really for the looooong advertised range, which is way beyond VLOS, but rather for the increased communication stability in urban environments. The camera system seems to be the same, with a single 24mm equivalent sensor and a fixed aperture of f/1.7 . Hopefully, they will be equipping the drone with the new stacked CMOS sensor introduced in the Air 3.
If your asking "need" questions, your in the wrong place, lol! That's like asking if a V12 engine is "necessary" The question is how many drones do they make 🤔 I have evert DJI released since 2019 except Mini 3 and Mavic 3 Classic. Both "scaled back" models of more featured versions of the same platform. Practical types need not apply 😅
Whenever I turn on my drone inside the house, the Tetter Mode notification appears and the drone starts moving strangely. Can you help me and tell me what the reason is?
Marcus, I have seen you using different DJI controllers in the past couple of years. I am thinking about the DJI Air 3 when they have a Black Friday sale. Is it posssible to use the base controller or the RC 2 with my iPad? I love the larger screen. I think you used the Pro controller the last time you flew your new Air 3. Since that is not an option with the package, I am unsure about the screen on RC2.
With an aftermarket mount you can use your iPad with the RCN1 controller. You may be able to use the DJI RC2, but you'd need to find a way to mount your iPad I'm not sure.
Fun flight and review of this great drone. I assume that you will get the Mini 4 Pro and I look forward to your review of it. But please don’t do a “I dare you not to buy the Mini 4 Pro” video. I am trying to content myself with the Mini 2, Mini 3 Pro, and the Air 3. Take it easy, Marcus, and don’t dare us to “Just one more drone.” Cheers, buddy.
I want the Mini 4 to make margaritas! Just kidding, maybe. More battery life, shorter charging time and a lower price because most of us just bought the Air 3 and maxed out our credit cards. I'm not lucky enough to fly around the globe for HELLASIOUS content. If you're like me, you drive to a location and can easily transport more than one drone. But the added headaches of getting drones through customs will make the Mini 4 the perfect travel drone. Geeksvana showed some leaked video of the Mini 4 and the camera looks the same. The OA sensors are angled out so as to broaden the scan to 360 degrees, more arrow dynamic and landing gear under the front motors. Only thing left is what the software has to offer.
Greetings Marcus. I suspect some few features to make it different. Like flight time, camera lens, omini directional sensors 4k higher fps Regards to Bill the Drone. Welbeck here.😊

Hi Marcus, I saw with interest you took a 48MP photo without issues. I see some people have been loosing connection with the drone after a 48MP picture and the drone wont connect again even after restarting the controller. Some drones getting damaged. RTH position changes sometimes too. Only connects again after restarting the drone if it landed safely. DJI looking at it currently. Be interesting to see what the mini 4 has to offer although I'm happy with the Mini 3 Pro.
@@IdahoQuadcopter Yes I think it's the first time you've used the 48mp. Trouble is you often only get half the story from people having issues. Those people are only a very small percentage of the people with a Mini 3 Pro also. Some of those with a disconnect would have had a successful RTH had they not set the RTH to brake instead of bypass. As the drone got stuck behind an object. If there was an issue with random disconnects this may have been addressed in the latest update.
@@lindsaycripps1597 I take I'd say half of my photos at 48mp and have never had any issues whatsoever. (I've bought my M3P in Australia, if that makes any difference.)
I don't think we will get a range increase with the regular batteries possibly with batteries that will bring it over 250 grams. That said I think most of the improvements will be firmware upgrades to keep it under that magical 250 gram weight, if not they will lose a lot of sales.
