Great review! I recently bought this tent and discovered there was no poles with it - while wild camping! I slept under a tarp, under my motorcycle that night. Amazon is refusing to help me as I left it longer than 30 days to discover the issue. Could you help me out by telling me the length of the poles? That way I might be able to replace the poles and make the tent useable.
Hi there. There are 2 poles (blue tips) that are 3330mm and 1 pole (red tips) is 3200. The red tip pole has a pre-formed bent section in the centre to form the entrance shape which is approximately 10 degrees. Hope this helps.
Hi, thanks for the comment. The Snugpak looks good and a kilo lighter. If you’re planning on stealth camping, the Snugpak would probably blend in to the surroundings better being available in green. Berghaus only seem to be making their backpacking tents in red!!

You might want to try balancing the mic volumes before posting so you have an even volume throughout. Otherwise, a very thorough review; in particular, where you mentioned that if you leave the inner connected to the outer, you can pitch both simultaneously thereby reducing the overall pitching time; a very key point in bad weather
The inner (upper, not floor) IS mesh, but it’s not as breathable as you might expect. It keeps a lot of the heat in but allows sufficient air permeability to keep the inside dry from condensation. Thanks for the question. 👍

No worries. I’m hardly overwhelmed with comments 😂. If you can cope with the weight, it’s a great buy.

Is the inner all mesh or solid material?
The inner (upper, not floor) IS mesh, but it’s not as breathable as you might expect. It keeps a lot of the heat in but allows sufficient air permeability to keep the inside dry from condensation. Thanks for the question. 👍
