  • Qualifying for the Championship Tour is no easy feat. Of the hundreds of hopefuls who try each year, only 10 make the cut from the Qualifying Series. At season's end, when things are getting tight, QS hopefuls are up against a hungry batch of Championship Tour stars clinging for survival, too. This make-or-break story unfolds every year in Hawaii, starting with the Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa. At this year's event, three surfers locked their slots on next year's CT. In this episode of Tournotes Griffin Colapinto, Tomas Hermes and Willian Cardoso react to breaking through.
