Hey Wallie, that department store you pointed out used to be a Kmart. It closed back in 2014 and a lot of the store was subdivided into other businesses. Only a small portion of the store is left unused.
That old department store in front of Giant Eagle used to be a Kaufmanns back in the 80's. They moved to the Beaver Valley mall and it became a K-mart until it closed about 10 years ago. 😢
Soon! I'm hoping either this week or next. I have to run up to Hermitage, Tuesday, to pick up something I bought at auction. So I'll be through the area Tuesday evening.
In,Detroit, Michigan and Rite Aid has been holding Store Closing Sales and Closing Stores Permanently. Between, the Bankruptcies and Financial Problems, no wonder why Rite Aid is going Out of Business. 3:07

Yes, I remember there being a Kmart “upstairs” from Giant Eagle (which was a Gimbel’s, then a Kaufmann’s)! There are still some open Rite Aids in Grove City, Mercer, and Slippery Rock. As far as I know, they won’t be closing anytime soon.
Wallie the Eckerd later Rite Aid was originally located in space where dollar general is today, prior to eckerd the previous location was a Thrift Drug
Rite Aid really must not be doing to well. With as many as you filmed you could probably make a playlist. Also Love the trains and am looking forward to that video. Also Do you have any more summer videos coming up? I love those videos too and am really looking forward to summer since we are going on a nice vacation!
